i am in my mid fifties and i don't experience this happy, party gorgeous menopause? Any idea why? Anxiety, severe hair loss, no sleep, no energy, joint aches, weight gain, dry skin, and mood swings. Where is this party and liberation?

Same. I gained 35 pounds in a 4-6 week period. Everything else was just as drastic. Loss of energy, loss of strength, brain fog, anxiety, sleeplessness, can't stand warm or hot weather, poor digestion, and everything hurts constantly. It's no party.

Thank you so much Lara for your books and information 💛
I am going back to my gp today to ask about progesterone for perimenapause after being told last week that antidepressants, birth control or hysterectomy were my options!!! 🤯.
It seems to me that to be contented women in this world we either need to be pregnant/breastfeeding all the time or figure out a natural low risk way to mimic this state in our adult female population.
The monthly pain and disruption caused to so many women (and their poor families) is very upsetting and surely unecessary???

Great conversation between both of you … And I have naomi’s books Ava just bought Lara’s. Appreciate the removing of the taboo around menopause.

I have to take birth control, unfortunately. I have severe Adenomyosis & my period was regular, but I was in pain that no living person should have been in every month. I am too young for a hysterectomy. Yet the pain is not something that I can bear.

I find it difficult to find where the range should be average wise. Those hormone blood tests are awful to decipher. Supposedly my estrogen is fine so I’m on progesterone and I use a cream dose topically 1/week. I’ve gained 20 pounds. Dr said stop progesterone and testosterone. Saying I’m not supposed to be on it permanently? So confusing.

I would love to learn how to dissolve cysts (fibercystic breast) . I’m 45 & noticed it within the last 2 years right before my period each month. I assume in part it’s Perimenopause bc I’ve never had any hormonal issues before and doctors all say fibercystic breast is normal & take Advil if it hurts 🙄. I haven’t found any info on how to get rid of cyst naturally and I know we can .

I experienced fibercystic breasts my adult life. I can tell you one thing that helped me was evening promise oil, in addition cutting down or out caffeine (this was really hard). Lots of water. These are some things that helped me. Best wishes

@@MA-qm4dj thank you!! Yup it wasn’t until I started drinking caffeine daily that it popped up for me so I cut it all out about 4 months ago when I learned it’s connection . I haven’t tried evening primrose yet . Thank you

@@Alykat736 no problem also forget to mention DIM it helps with estrogen dominance which causes fibercystic breasts. I take DIM with milk thistle to flush the estrogen from the liver.
