- Welcome back to another Friday Night Funkin' Video! This time we're back to one of my favorite character's mods, HEX! I can't believe it's been nearly 10 months since the HEX mod first release and I'm super glad to have him back. It looks like there's a far bigger story being fleshed out for him so hopefully there will be another update soon..

the person who modded that song, TaroNuke, wasn't given any context of where the song will be placed in the full mod
he thought it might be an extra song you unlock and not something you NEED to beat to progress which is why the difficulty is like so

Hex mod honestly has some of the best music I've ever heard from mods created for this game... and the fun thing is, they're chill beats. They're nothing wild and savage like Whitty or Tricky were, they're not difficult like Ruv or Sarv they're just... GOOD
All of those mods were wonderful to and I love so many of the mods that have vome out, I'm still eagerly awaiting Entity to fully drop as well, but Hex... for lack of challenge up until this point, you have to admit that the music really makes this mod wonderful. The story to! Just Hex in himself and his story, all of these character's stories... this community has so much talent and love behind it

A mod I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a challenge without all the extra mechanics is the Camellia mod, the music is SO good and and I’m sure you’ll have some trouble in the songs, either way, definitely a good suggestion.

I really enjoyed this video. It's great to see Hex return and with more story. If it's not too much of a bother here's some mods I would love to see you play, VS Static, VS Red, Static Memories (phase 2), Smoke 'em out Struggle, and VS Sunday. Hope you take some time to consider trying them out. They're all really good mods.

Ryan's energy just makes me smile so much it's like when he talks it's so heartwarming
watching you struggle and eventually complete "detected" was honestly a blast and shows that you can beat pretty much any FNF song if you keep going at it (same with expurgation) so I decided to try and find a mod that was also pretty difficult, that mod being "VS Flippy" it's pretty old and I kinda want you to check it out since Flippy comes from Happy Tree Friends and I am obsessed with that show, so seeing one of my favorite youtubers check out that mod would be amazing to see.
if you do check it out though, just, prepare your fingers

I recommend you play the Smoke Em' Out Struggle Mod, also known as Vs Garcello. The mod's been out for quite some time now, but there was lots of effort put into it, and the story is so heartwarming! The music is unlike any other OST I've heard in any mod, and you easily fall in love with Garcello's character as a whole.

People have been begging for a long time the mod is old now and won't have much to say as its even easier than old hex its trash content
The one thing that I DON'T like about the hex mod is in the health bar, when you are doing REALLY good, the hex head gets sad, but when you have damage, he is happy.
That's backwards, hex WANTS a good jam and WANTS you to do good. Those sprites need to be flipped.

@@r3dsunl1ght15 No he doesn't, because he doesn't see it as a battle like everyone else, he sees it as a jam session. That's why his sprite should be the only one that's different, because he's the only person (or whatever you wanna call him) that see's it this way.
For him, this isn't vs. This is co-op.

Ik it sounds crazy, but I think Ryan should try to train his fingers to predict the next note or just get the timing right from the beat instead of depending on reading the arrows.
Its a lot thought as it is different people charting meaning they have different styles making it tought to guess

This chart for Detected is absolutely insane, but the weirdest part about it is, if they didn't have the moving chart, the song's actually really easy in terms of notes.
Something about the charter having no idea it was a mandatory song so they made it a bit challenging.

As much as I like Hex, this form of difficulty is not fun. The charting is simple but it's just downright unreadable sometimes because of how it moves. It's like they saw cheating and unfairness from the Dave and Bambi mod and instead of a joke song, they turned it into the 2nd song of the new week. I don't care if they add mines into the song, just don't make it this messy since you need to see to play the game. It's not those rhythm games where you need to hear the beat to play it blind.

It’s been so long since this mod came out I’m so glad this got updated
This is one of the few mods that got an update was high quality and everybody loved and the community didint stomp into the ground and giving the creator depression or making them dissapear but i am happy this one survived

I recommend the second phase of the Zardy Mod. Yeah, if you thought the first one was hard, you’d better be prepared for this one!
Normally he would give up on the very hard song but he never did,just shows that he actually wants to play the mod rather then just play it for a video
Modcharts are fun, so Ryan should definitely try out some more, like the retrospecter remix modcharts or Wish I Could Care Less

Also I got the one small tip for you though don’t use the arrow keys your finger looks all jammed together use D,F,J,K it’s the same input as your arrow keys but your fingers have more space and can move more freely

I recommend doing the Camelia mod, the music is great (no copyright btw) and is gonna be a big challenge for you. Unfortunately, the second and third week are most likely going to be too hard. Especially the third week....

Ruv is not even close to the hardest. Yes this is tough but you just need to practice it and hex was never and will never be known for difficulty. It's not what the mod was made for
The hardest mod is by far the camellia mod. Good charting AND it doesn't even have any mechanics.
The music in this mod is just beautiful, absolutely beautiful and I can simply say this is the best mod in the game

What an epic Hex Weekend Mod like this took a whole new level not to mention the cutscenes and new stage style is Funkin the coolest & the songs are definitely the best out of all especially Detected which was really difficult but Ryan still beat it really amazing job from everyone and too you 8BitRyan for sharing this
I'm really glad that Hex is back. It's one of the best mods in the game. Also, I recommend playing the Friday Night Fever mod. It's the biggest mod and I know you're gonna love it.

I feel like it would be easier to read Detected using audio instead of visual cues, since BF pretty much exclusively copies Hex's patterns, and the visuals are almost impossible to read even as an outside observer
