What are they grazing in the summer though?
I have tall fescue in my pasture. Along with perennial ryegrass. Red clover some bluegrass and a johnsongrass stand along the fence that sneaking over from my neighbors. The cows hardly ever if ever touch the tall fescue. The eat around it.
It's probably a wild variety with high silica content. Horses might like it.
What kind of ryegrass is better to use
I thought this was toxic for goats and cows
