Really nice version. I’ve been to at least 10 steely Dan shows since 1994, and screamed, “play Do it Again” at the tops of my lungs many times, until they definitely heard me, but sadly they never played it. I missed a show I had tickets for in west palm beach circa 2001 and go figure they did play it there. Looking forward to seeing some of these musicians at basement east tonight for Jerry Garcia bday celebration. If they play the Dead anywhere close to what is shown here we will be really stoked !! I’ll try not to request Do it Again haha but love listening to it here, I’m on my 4th time. Thanks !!!

Great job. You kept the original sound but added your own sound. Until I heard this cover, I thought the Brooklyn Charmers dd the best cover. This is the best cover I have ever heard of this song. This would have been fantastic to skate to at the roller or ice rink!

To change the drum part is to not appreciate the mastery put into the original by jim hodder and or Porcaro. Not one for one, but the essence of what was done. Sorry man, this doesn't hold up to one of my favorites to jam to. The hat driving the jam was cheap, original played on that ride consistently and built towards the end with subtle complexity, it was a distinct staple. Those drummers then where not married to the hat on the pocket like today.
