the help and water mixture can be used in the ratio that best works for your hair. the gel is very strong full strength, but it will smooth your hair better if your hair is more resistant. it will be difficult to get through the cast on your curls. the results will be a very silky smooth finish on 4a, 4b or 4c hair.

You look great! I appreciate that you didn't let the roots not being straight nor the frizz (which I never saw) interfere with your look, because they didn't! You reminded me how, when I was young, perfect things needed to look for me to be comfortable, and, believe me, it was not fun when I felt that way. Contrary when I just enjoyed my process, feeling that my hair looked cool enough for me, I'd have the best times!

Your hair came out beautifully! I have these rollers in 4 different sizes, depending upon the style I am going for that week. I used these all while I was transitioning from perm to natural. If someone is trying for the first time, I might add these tips. Keep a water bottle , before I apply my curl creme, I make sure the section I am rolling is nice and damp. Use a wide tooth comb to make sure there are no knots or tangles. I then go in with a rat tail comb to further smooth that section. Curls come out soft and bouncy. Mine will last a whole week if I roll it every night. Be sure curls are completely dry before taking rollers out.

I loved this look on you. This reminds me of my college days. I roller set my natural hair every 2 weeks. As a student I didn’t have money to spend at the beauty salon so I learned to do my own hair. I love that we are going back to old school hair techniques like roller sets and pin curls to style our hair.

Your results are lovely! I've always been natural and this is how I've straightened my entire life. In the 90s I would hit those roots with a marcel lol I haven't straightened my hair in years bc all the products I used to use have been discontinued! Miss Cool setting lotion, Hindu Sheen, Aveda Elixir! So it's been wash n gos and short cuts ❤

I’m convinced these smart phones record and use or conversations to suggest advertising etc …. But I’m so happy this video popped up, ordering my rollers and dryer- I’m so excited- I didn’t want to get silk presses too often/ if this works for my multi textured hair I’m done with direct heat- thank you!

for night time roll into BIG pin curls, same pattern as rollers: 4 down the middle and 2 or 3 on each side. You will save the curl and still be smooth. God bless you darling. really nice video.
