Rain World - THE LUCKIEST LINEAGE

2 lizards were killed in the entire run and now I have a red lizard on cycle 6. And because of the red's consistent frills, it likely spawned on cycle 5.
Due to recording cuts and me taking obnoxiously long shelter breaks, I pieced together all the action that lead to the lineage.
I suppose this is where all of my luck went. I spent countless hours in the past on ps4 version trying to spawn a red without moving lineage once. I can't say I'm complaining with this lineage, I've always wanted to spawn a red lizard, and now I have one!
I find it amusing how the red lizard was meant to punish players who have been camping a region and killing hundreds of lizards, yet I got a red after killing 2 lizards and literally only being alive for 6 cycles.

Tolinar You could see it frequently, try rushing towards areas of open sky (or just leave your shelter if it opens to an area that's already there), it has a higher chance of showing up on your first run of the day, but it doesn't always appear.

first time playing, had a red lizard spawn in industrial complex immediately after my 2nd cycle there, with a grand total of 0 lizard kills.

Lineage system requires kills, so unless you lineaged a non-lizard shelter, that was probably a pink lizard, sometimes they're almost identical to red lizards in color. The big difference though is size, reds' spitting ability and speed.

@@milkforthekhorneflakes3581 lineage only happens with player kills, if a creature kills another creature it just respawns next cycle. pink lizards sometimes can be red in color

it was interesting. It may have came from the leg, I was on a killing spree after I got pissed at 5 pebbles for killing me for the first time (Ignored every shelter there because I thought I would just breeze through, which I did, until I got brain zapped) sending me all the way back to the leg.
Still, my first encounter with this incredibly rare thing, spots me on the pole that leads to the orange lizard nest, was right next to the thing, and it tripped and fell off the wall. I didn't even get to see its spitting attack.

Judging by your movements - yes. Yes, it is the luckiest lineage. :D
But if you'd be a new player... Well, probably wouldn't be able to kill all the previous stages though.
Oh, yeah, that's on old video of yours, just looked at the channel's name. Most of the Rain World videos are kinda similiar, you don't feel a need to talk about anything, just to survive and thrive...

You might not be picking the right den to grind, or the den is just broken. This happens sometimes and creatures will simply stop spawning.

I only killed a blue lizard in IC and a pink lizard in CC and that’s how my beautiful red lizard was born (hatched?) ❤️
Edit: save file got corrupted, had to restart. At least I was able to lineage a cyan lizard later in my second run, although I have really bad reputation with lizards in industrial now.

@@ovisdot0bj if you just entered a region and hybernate, and then die, a rainbow appears near the gate. I love this touch so much

@@sluggishkitten Actually, rainbows just have a chance to appear in some rooms at the start of any cycle. So it was a very lucky run in more ways than one.

The only lineage den in Outskirts is SU_A40. The lineage is as follows:
Green Lizard -10%- Pink Lizard -50%- Blue Lizard -20%- Red Lizard.
You can do the math.

i accidently lineaged a yellow lizard by killing like only 2 lizards, idk the chances tho :P if someone has a list of the chances please send me it :D, im kinda late tbh-
oh yeah i forgot, that lizard broke my whole game, when i killed it, i died to a green one, (i went back he was still there) then my tail and body started glitching out, flashing, dissapearing and coming back, the graphics were also glitching, flashing, and it was all in outskirts as survivor, so i reseted my save file, it was all weird
i also again forgot that the lizard had its same movements as the cycle where i died, even if i went another way he would still go and do the same movements, even biting at air...??, like i didnt die and i was still there, i really didnt understand what happened, and i promise im not faking this out, it really happened, sadly i deleted the save file, it looked scary, because of the flashes in the sky (it was not an echo, there are no echos in outskirts as survivor) so thats why, you guys cant see how it looked
wait...can you lineage a orange lizard in outskirts?....
