1975 Apollo Motor Home Restoration Series (Part 5)

Day 5 in Hemet CA working on the 1975 Apollo. Today I am tackling the upper and lower Radiator hoses, it turned out to be a lot tougher than anticipated since I ad to basically loosen the whole Radiator to get to the upper hose clamp. Also found lots of Crystallized anti-freeze on top of the Thermostat which was the wrong one by the way.... These require a skirted T-State due to the high heat these engines produce. You can still buy them but they are pricey. If you look at your original air cleaner is will give you a warning to use the correct Thermostat...make sure you heed it.
