I miss Symm’s personal shield / shield generator along with Torb’s armor packs. OW felt more like an RPG than a FPS in its early years, the golden years. R.I.P.

Support sym didn't have to "pass her shield through" teammates to give them the shield health. She just had to look at each teammate once during each of their lives and tap e.
I swear someone's is going to make an Overwatch PVE game with characters being clones of the OW cast.
Bonus points if the VAs of OW voice the characters in the OW clone, I wouldn't be surprised if Jeff was the head of said game, Or if Gear Box made it.

Battleborn launched in 2016. It has pvp, pve and ability trees and it failed. Gearbox made this game

I may be in the minority, but I've always felt that Original DVa Matrix was superior to the rework. I liked that Matrix was a skill shot so if you didn't know when to use it, you could screw yourself. I also liked that because it was a skill shot, it was extremely powerful when used right. I miss being able to eat entire Ultimates with Matrix. 😢 That's how I got DVa Matrix Achievement. I ate a full Pharah Barrage on Point A of Hanamura. Ah... those were the days...
This just isn’t true, Symmetra used to be able to give people a 25 shield to their health by interacting with them on launch, THEN she had a shield she could throw out after her first rework, if you’re going to make a video you should probably understand what you’re talking about first :/

I miss old overwatch, the be fore all the reworks. They should make a game mode for arcade with all the original characters abilitys
About junkrat his ability exist in hots (heroes of the storm) as junkrat ult coming from above and killing junkrat everybody in small radius
A few addendums/corrections to this video for those confused:
-Unless there was a pre-beta mechanic that I wasn't aware of, reaper picking up souls did not prevent mercy from resurrecting allies. You were able to mass rez death blossom in beta really easily.
-Symmetra did not "throw" a shield that passed through allies per say, she had a limited number of times she could apply overhealth shields to allies one-by-one individually. You had to select each teammate and each teammate could only have one stack of shields at any given time; no layering.
-Genji's bleed effect got saved for a later hero (what ended up becoming junker queen).
-Junkrat was actually supposed to ride his rocket while controlling it, so if you died, you and the rocket both perished. This eventually got put into heroes of the storm as his ultimate ability in that game.
Your sym correction is right, however one of her reworks gave her a barrier much like Sigs but it just keep going
A lot of the info were not even in the pre-beta mechanics. They were info provided from a trip to the Blizzard HQ wayyyy back in 2016 when my main channel was "Overwatch Moments - Gaming Curios" haha. They were talks with the developers or notes on the blizzard HQ walls
To this day I miss symmetra support
I wish they gave it another crack when ow2 dropped

Argh! More like a a plane bomb that carpet bombs in a straight line, sort of like hanzo’s ult, but you could use shield/ cover to save yourself from the bombs dropping.

I miss that floating shield Sym had, it was so much fun to use! I know Sigma has something similar, but you can control it. I want a shield that just flies away.
i remember killing an ulting pharah with that sheild lol
I remember back then when Symmetra's +50 shield with Tobrjorn's +50 armor was broken and used to create a 300 HP armored Zenyatta that could regenerate 200 HP. Because the way it used to work was HP -> Armor -> Shields and if you had armor shields would be armored. And Zen used to be 50HP and 150 shields.
But, oh boy, I still remember the 450HP bastion with 50% damage reduction in turret mode and could tank most ults. That lasted only 2 weeks. Or the self-healing bastion that could just press E and permanently repair itself forever at the speed of a Mercy healing.
BTW, Bastion is still the only overwatch hero without an E ability since they removed the heal.

Funny how they take away Bastion self heal and people like roadhog and soldier 76 can heal, like what’s the point of a support class when heroes like that exist.
So they can be more self sufficient so the supports don't have to camp them which fress up time for supports to offer utility to the team

Well at least Reinhardt's hammer throw was used in Mortal Kombat 11 where Shao Kahn can throw his hammer at his opponent but Kahn throws his hammer behind him where it teleports behind his opponent
Remember when Reaper could collect souls that gave him health?
If they added the Genji bleed to his blade and dash and made it count towards the healing debuff, maybe then genjis ult would finally be useful again

I wish the bastion remote thing was added instead of current bastion ult or the rpg ultimate again. both are so much better than the current, its way weaker and 3 shots is too little.
