In Spanish we have lots of sayings involving Chinese people or China.
    For instance:
    1. Esto es un cuento chino (lit. This is a Chinese fairytale). Used when something is hard to believe.
    2. Me suena a chino (lit. This sounds like Chinese to me). When we can't understand what other people are saying because the topic is very complicated.
    3. Esto es trabajo de chinos (lit. This is a Chinese people work). It is used when something (usually artistic or handicrafted) is very elaborate or has lots of details.

Now it’s a common joke in my class. Everytime I want to say have sex I say Chaofan. Always gets a laugh. I guess you could have also mentions eating someone’s Toufu and little brother and little sister.

Great video as always! Very useful!
May I ask, at 2:16 , why do you use "結果" to say "but" ?
If I remember correctly, "結果" means "result" right?
    Thanks!

结果 also means the outcome of something!so the outcome of the period is that she cant attend the game!

I really confuse the sounds j,q,x and c,z,s. I saw the video you talk on this but still not understand. Could you make another video talking specifically. Thank a great deal. From Vietnam.

Ya. I tried a lot of times that way. it is just different from the vowels but the consonants are the same. They are quite similar. Whether Vietnamese and Chinese have many common points in pronunciation.

What about the word 給? There’s this drama character who said 給我啊 in an 18+ context, so the meaning is obvious. But is it a commonly used expression or does it sound odd?

    老师你好,我想问你一个我挺好奇的问题。你英语这么好肯定是专门学过的吧。假设你在中国跟一个学中文的美国人谈恋爱。他想提高他的中文水平,你想提高你的英文水平。刚开始你们可能会说好隔天英文中文这类的,可是这样持续下去时间长了就会开始有点烦了。最后你觉得你们会讲中文比较多还是英语比较多?你更希望在家里跟男朋友讲中文还是英文? ^_^ 谢谢
