So spring time is alway a busy time on a snail farm. This video shows how we feed our snails and shows us getting the Pollytunnel ready for season 2022.

why a snail Muller/Maxima doesn't have eggs inside it's body ? We,'ve been cooking snails for 4 years now, but never found the snail caviar inside. I suppose, it makes eggs one by one, just filling in something like a sausage intestine and then cutting every piece.
The Snails we have here only breed once a year at a certain time in the season. When they are pregnant with eggs only hold the eggs for two weeks before laying them. So the rest of the year they would be egg free 🐌

Hello, thanks for watching the videos. We are lucky here on our farm, as ants aren’t a problem that we have ever had trouble with. But there are pesticides you can buy to help with insects. But I know a lot of these pesticides have been banned in parts of Europe. Ireland is probably the strictest country with pesticides. So we can’t get the ones needed and are safe to use over here anymore

Thanks for watching. Where we are here in Ireland, it’s a wet damp climate. So we eat all our water from natural, so we are very lucky 🍀

You have been gone a while, i hope you are doing more videos throughout the year ?
I know we haven’t done as many videos lately, but this time of year is the most workload we have because we have lambing season here on the farm then straight after lambing we are back into snails, finishing off a season and getting it ready to start a new season. We hope to be doing more videos as the new season moves ahead 👍🏻
