The idea that these women are humans isn't and shouldn't be radical. We may like what they do to satisfy ourselves, but we should do it with the understanding that it's work like anything else, and they deserve to be treated like other people do, that is, with dignity and respect. They have feelings, emotions, backgrounds and families, friends who love and care for them, just like anyone else. We should learn to judge people based on their actions and who they are, not on their job.

I feel like it's already a bad thing that they are being looked at just sexually and not as human beings but for centuries women have always been thought of and looked at as sexual beings and nothing more. And it's probably worse for porn stars. Because that's their everyday job.
It's funny/sad to think about the fact that soldiers get paid to ultimately kill people and are one of the most respected groups of society, but porn actresses/escorts, whose jobs actually bring joy and entertainment to people's lives are one of the most disrespected groups in society. This is also mirrored in our entertainment ie; violence is more tolerated in the visual arts (Film,Television and Gaming) than depictions of sexuality and nudity. Especially in gaming which is ridiculous imo.
Not saying that violence can not or should not be depicted in the visual arts (artists should only be limited by their imagination and/or resources) and in fact its a great outlet for pent up frustrations. That being said, if we use the visual arts as an outlet for our pent up aggression and entertainment why is it so stigmatized when these outlets are used for sexual frustrations? Oh yeah, I forgot to factor in religion and societal puritanism. That's why.
