The thing about this man is, he was never about the numbers. If you look at his goals / assists / key passes, he is great but far more are better; BUT you had to watch him play to understand how good he was. His dribbling, his technique, his vision, his tempo-dictating movement on and off the ball, out of this universe. Euro 2012 final, Spain won Italy 4-0, he scored zero, assisted zero, and was named Man of the Match. Iniesta is a player that made the impossible look so simple, you'd think you can grab a ball and do what he did in your backyard, but good luck! His swift feet and the way he magically penetrated defences will forever remain in my memory. My favorite player ever. Respect and love to you all.
I am spanish, and tbh it really offends me how people says that an actual spanish player playing for a spanish team is worse than players that come from other places, like modric from croatia. i support both teams madrid and barca, but it just kind of offends me. btw i am NOT sending hate to any country or anyone.
Iniesta is better than Xavi and any other player who played for barça, he is as big as a Barça legend as Messi was. But Iniesta is my favorite Barça player since he was the main reason he won Spain the World Cup. Iniesta deserved a Ballon D'or over messi twice. đȘđž
I disagree. Although both great players and pretty close iniesta I just slightly better because of his dribble and he was quicker too. In average he played the ball more than xavi even. Only thing xavi excelled over iniesta was the passes.
Zidane is better than Iniesta. Iniesta at 34 was playing in the japanese league and Zidane was playing at Real Madrid and he was playing in the World Cup Final.
