Hey Star Bazaar, what sensitivity do you play on. I usually play on fifty, but I'm not very successful with my hook swings with my current sensitivity.

I'm addicted to these videos. Battlefront 2 hero showdown is the only thing I've been playing lately. Grinding all my saber hero's to 100.
Man showdown is full of disrespectful duo’s it’s like a 50/50 shot of getting people that actually want to duel

I find that yodas hook swing is easier than everyone’s else
I feel like it just really depends who you main on each side. I feel most comfortable hook swinging as Obi-Wan on the light side and Dooku on the dark side
Yoda's hooks swing is easiest to learn I don't think it's the best

I don't know if it counts as hooking, but I'm always trying to run behind my enemy and it's really effective.
Anyone with a dash works very well. Couple it with a high sensitivity and a block breaking one like Yoda's, and you have basically just got to do some good stuff. Recently, I have been dashing into then as Yoda, dodging back twice, then hitting them with the dash again

I was wondering if you could make a video dedicated to just breaking down the parry "mechanic". I know you talk about it in other ones, but they are usually assuming that folks know how to do or understand the base maneuver. I've watched videos which try to explain it, but I haven't seen a good one in the style you've shown for your instructional/tips videos from before.

Kylo has a combo that’s so good!
Freeze then run away and jump, turn around just right and pull them. While they are in the air you can activate frenzy and hit them with all three attacks most of the time it’s so satisfying!

@@TheStarBazaar I honestly wish they nerfed either his health regen or the fact he can go invincible with defensive rush and mind trick.
These help me way more than I think they were intended to
As a fun fact. You can do a super safe version of the hook swing by using any character that has a dash ability(ex maul or luke) all you have to do is dash behind them and use said ability. It deals the dashes damage which might be lower then normal but still.
Also you can angle said dashes to go thru blocks by making it just barely in range

I haven't been able to play for well over a year and a half, it sucks because I was and still am generally really good at it, but seeing you play really hits that urge of wanting to play and keeps it at bay, who know maybe if I still had my Xbox we might have came across each other.

I just got back on and there's so many good ppl with parry skills. I learned new parry techniques just to beat the godly dooku players
i think it would be cool if the second hit of Defensive Rush (the one that you manually activate while pressing the attack button) could break blocks, it would make Obi-Wan a slightly better pick, even though he's already top tier.

On the republic ship there’s a good spot in either spawn, just have to deal with the out of bounds

Hey Star Bazaar what's your sensitivity? Wanting to know so I can make mine a bit higher, hut not the exact same as yours.
Im not gonna lie I practiced the hook swing a lot and finally mastered it in duels and it is a really affective finisher and move I learned how to do it by seeing other duelers use it against me and I didn’t know what it was at the time but now I know how to use it affectively

i have learnt how to do a hook its very effective but it surely needs practise oh and ur right aboutthe new players in hs i play swbf2 for duels and i rarely play trooper modes so 75% of the time i play hs i meet players below lvl 40
ive had trouble trying to do it somebody did try to show me how to do it and he said hit from the side but i tryed the back i also have a hard time dodging behind my enemies and attacking i dont think ive ever been able to do it

Hook swings are very hard to master... but also very fun to perform.
Also would getting battlefront 2 on PlayStation be worth it? It seems that you find better matches on PS (from what I can tell) but I already have it on X-Box and PC. :)
Video Idea: Have your subs send duels on BF2 and on a vid you watch them and recommend strategies and tell them how to improve

What Star cards do u use for anakin in heroes vs villians and hero showdown
Attraction is a must, Raw Strength is good and I use Steamroll, I'd recommend Tenacious over Steamroll if you're less experienced. Massive Strikes can be good but Anakin's stamina is not the best and I prefer not to use it.
I’m a very good player and I feel like the only thing keeping me from completely going OP is hook swings I can’t really get them right tho. This most definitely helpsss

was duelling today and discovered the gem that is hook swinging. I feel like some heroes can do it better than other like Anakin is better at hook swinging than obi wan due to their different jump attack animations, i could be wrong tho good video as always broski :)
Try hooking swinging while holding the controller in a claw technique guys , really helps
I know how to do the hook swing but i have to be too focus to do it right and i prefer to play more chill most of the time so i don't use hook swing.
How in the world do you play hvv and not experience glitches. Like with maul I’ll use my spin attach and get hit in the middle of hit. I’ll jump and my hit box will still be on the ground for some reason and I’ll day when I’m half way in the air. Some reason dodges don’t work I spam the b button on Xbox but I can’t get it do dodge sometimes. I thought it was just the game but after watching u play I don’t understand how mine is so messed up. Any ideas?
Input timing is very important in battlefront 2. I'm sure you've noticed there is a bit of a delay in this game. You hit a button and your character will do the command a half second later. You really have to be thinking 4-5 moves ahead to make sure you don't fall behind.
Example: if you jump away, but your opponent pressed the attack button while you were in range, you'll still get hit even if you're 20 feet in the air
