  • Making a trip back to the long forgotten (but not gone) San Francisco Int'l. The airport is still challenging due to the confined space and when a little volume is added, it becomes strategy to the max. Let's Go!

    Try giving the traffic landing on the 28s the command “vacate runway left onto taxiway T” (or another suitable taxiway down there). I find with this command the landing traffic keeps its speed up across the intersection and you can easily run the typical SFO land the 28s and depart both the 1s.

      I'll keep that in mind if I ever come back to this airport. Maybe in the next version if it ever gets developed.

    Using 28s for arrivals and 1s for departures I find that sometimes I have to have one or two planes go around so I can get traffic out.

      It’s bc the developers did a terrible job w/ the game engine and things do not work right at this airport. It’s been broken and talked about on the game forum since the day the airport came out.

      @@ATControl yeah that's what iv been hearing. I'm from the bay area and have plane watched at SFO for many years so I do still find it fun to play.

    I agree. The real-life use of runways at SFO are impossible to use in the game.

    This was my home airport growing up so I've spent many hours plane spotting here. In the summer with strong winds coming out of the west or southwest SFO will use 28L for departures. It's not unusual to see 15-20 aircraft lined up on taxiway F waiting to depart in the late afternoons.

      Its a solid airport -- and unique in it's design. It's too bad this game was built the way it was to limit the airport. Maybe I should build my own game and do it right hmmmm

      It would a lot less hectic and out of place if the game mechanics weren’t so bad

    Won't waste time with SFO until they FIX it and make it more realistic - so all four runways can be used simultaneously. I'll stick with DFW for a REAL challenge.

    I stopped playing this game a while ago... the devs keep pushing airports while the game itself is broken, KSFO showcases all the shortcomings, the last update of the game was like 2 years ago?
    even their RJ suck
