testing the Ryobi tools new power carver

  • ryobi tools was kind enough to send me their new power carver to trial these are my initial
    thoughts.

      definitely Brian I have done a follow up video on Instagram that has yet to be migrated to youtube that says that it would be a asset to wood turners I have actually just used it on such a project.

      ​@@waynebigfootwoodcraftplease test it on rusty bolts and nuts with a blunt tip. To shake loose the corrosion on the fastener before removal.

      @@sasquatchrosefarts I will do but it may take a while as I currently have no workshop, and all my tools are boxed up and stored away until I build the new workshop, which I seem to have lots of pitfalls at the moment

    Nice. It will be interesting to see how it is with longer periods of use (some of them get pretty hot).

      I used it today until the battery went flat and there were no overheating of any sort, but bear in mind it only runs for around 30mins on a full charge

      @@waynebigfootwoodcraft good to know. I had one of the Workzone ones and that got to hot to hold in about 5 minutes.
