Should not have torqued the wish bone arm down or the bottom of the shock ( if it has a rubber bush ) until the weight of the vehicle had been taken into consideration by jacking the bottom of the wish bone up till the vehicle started to lift a little. Then torque down the wish bone and shock.
What he has done there will cause the rubber bushes in the wish bone to fail quickly .

What you are saying is true for Macphearson style struts, but with a shock style assembly this is normal practice. If what you are saying is true for bottom bolt in struts, the car's suspension would not be able to rebound without causing binding at the bush under load. For the LS there is no impact for load vs not based on suspension. This is mainly why LS and similar applications are not offered with camber top hats. The alignment is not affected here by the strut install itself.

@@josephspellman2698 anywhere you have rubber bushings on suspension you should torque at ride height to save the bushings... if you dont once the car takes the load the bushing will rupture faster

You need to use a jack to load the suspension when torqueing down the A-arm's rubber bushing. If you do not to this, they will wear a lot faster since the suspension doesn't sit like that when the car is on the ground and the bushings are incorrectly loaded.

This helped me out so much appreciate the video. Did you roll your fenders for future wheel specs?

Don't roll LS430 fenders, cut them. When you roll they will create dimples and look like garbage

Thank you! I used beck and arnley for the control arms. CX racing for the coilovers. the ride quality was good and smooth after installation . the old ball joint on the control arms on mine were shot.

Where should I go to get mine checked out? I'm in Lake Worth Florida. My car is a 2002 LS430/115K miles. Timing belt changed at 110K. The car's engine sounds like a well oiled sewing machine. But I don't know where I can take it where they won't try to upcharge me.
