#MALADMZ #DIGITALMYSTIKZ #DUBSTEP - Hudba
Who told you that the old fathers "renamed the style to chillstep"?
Bring them to me. They need to be taught.
I can’t put it down to no one but myself but I really lost love with dubstep I am a south London man and I grew up in Croydon skateboarding and was in love with this beautiful sound we reminisce on today..I was too young and was very scared to go to the shop and really get to grips with the scene beside waiting for the wax but I recently got introduced to loefah and benton (who I admired from a very far and beautiful place their music had taken me too) via a very good and dear friend..its crazy to think this sound bring me so many emotional feelings still to this day
Large up man like Benton.
One of my favourites
Even now I forget how beautiful this piece was I really do think that the title really represented the sound
Dubstep really cannot leave you if you was in London and around that time..grime was my introduction to this side of music aswell as being into reggae and dub from the beginning..yet synths were and are everything to me
When I want to drift off to another plane of existence this track is the vehicle that propels me there.
This is the meaning of dubstep...
I don’t mean to rabble on but this music should and will stand the test of time AS LONG AS I STAND ON THIS PLANET AND BEYOND
just a masterpiece
really dude? this is straight up dubstep
Such a beautiful album. 💚🚀
Unexpectedly relaxing
can someone find something simlr to this??? It still remains my fav dub step release (Return II space) becuase of living different and unexpected especially, so much more in this then most dub step ahs to offer yet i cant find anything comparable released by dmz/digital mystikz/mala... wonder what he was on, true blessing this track
🛸
I love whistling along with the chime.
this comment section is plagued. come on people, just listen and appreciate for once. no debates over names and definitions - what even is the point? this is the mystikz sound
I think this is one of his best!
Big up Mala. smoke some weed spin this song.
Qué joya, la verdad.
So many feels...

this tune is so sick! i need to get myself a copy of this
Sooo cool, had this tune as ring for monhts
was always hesitent with this epat first , but getting older into dub music this is much better on with experiance
soulful
muchlove
The vibes remind me of the music in Sly Cooper.
Amen.
Wow. That left and right hand analogy is so wrong I can't even begin to describe it to you.
nice motor
dubstep is 'meditate through bassweight' not "oh man, check out this disgusting youtube rip from ukf on mai dre beats and iphone!!"
is this 2step? or just some variation of dubstep..?
stop being so ignorant bastard
people need to stop trying to distinguish different types of garage/2 step/dub/bro/chill or whatever you want to call it. Enjoy what you like and appreciate the production behind all genres.
This is a fucking anthem
What do you call something that has remained the same but labelled under another name as per the author's own wishes?
I'm asking because Skream did this kind of dubstep, and later on started calling it chillstep because Skrillex happened to this part of the music industry.
Hey, the skrillex thing is old. Stop flipping bringing it up in every dubstep piece. Just enjoy the damn song!
Stop saying words.
that's nonsense, who told you that??? wtf
you're either trolling or have no clue wtf you're talking about
Because I'd really like to know how am I getting yelled at for several months for saying /practically/ the same thing you did.
Chillstep is dubstep at 130 bpm.
Lame boy
feedmewithmusicable I don't even know how you got that notion. No offense.
Your mom.
You need teaching as well. This is getting really out of hand.
haha dude you're extremely confused, labels do exist for a reason but renaming a style of music because people begin making a shitty version of it is pretty dumb wouldn't you think it would be wiser to name the new shitty stuff instead of renaming all the stuff that has been previously put under that label? i mean are you seriously implying that the midrange garbage that has lost the dub influence is now dubstep and the the deep stuff that has a dub influence should be named chillstep? LOLOLOL
Sadly this is what happened to metal and rock too :(
lol you're the one trying to shove an opinion down peoples throats, my opinion is the one held by the majority, go see digital mystikz and try and tell people mala makes chillstep, you will be laughed at and seriously mate if you're serious about this and not trolling LOLOLOL
Also, if you want to shove your opinions down someone's throat, I advise you to try that in IRL, you'll sooner get walked out on and/or punched in the face for being ignorant that replied to patiently and calmly as I have.
"Retarded" and "Lame" do nothing to your point, but they make you sound like those exact same things.
That said, record shops don't update as often as they should. It's a problem with physical shops and virtual shops.
This is not dubstep, this is chillstep, a subgenre. Real dubstep has its identic wobble which you can easily recognize if you're a good dubstep listener.
Shufup dude it's all dubstep u sound like a nob
It's actually chillstep. Dubstep was defined as the so-called "transformers in the shitter" when Skrillex came and messed it up. Not wanting to do anything with that abortion of a genre, Dubstep practical founders, Skream, Benga, Mala and such renamed the style to Chillstep.
Hence, this is Chillstep, aka "Old Dubstep", which is easily identified by the lack of a bass drop and instead, a near-continuous or ever-present sub-bass.
*punch in the face*
> Presenting Opinions as Facts
Sir, please. Your stupid is showing.
Like I said: Whether you like it or not, "Old Dubstep" like this particular piece by Mala is now called "Chillstep" to distinguish it from the commercial junk.
It's a way to avoid confusion and mix-ups with the now-two-meanings of "Dubstep" (the commercial crap and the good, old stuff like this). But you clearly just like getting into fights for the heck of it, thus unable to realize the importance of distinguishing things.
