Thanks Mike. Great tips. I just welded in the mounts for my CIP1 set. Did a test fit as well. They look awesome. You were right. Absolutely no way to fit them perfectly. The window openings are not perfect, so you just have to eye it and get it as close as possible.

got to love the past, 50 and 100 dollar cars all day long. even till early 90s never paid more than 500 bucks for a good running no rust bugs. Nobody wanted buses. Could not give them away. Times have changed .Thank you for another great video

Yea the last bug I sold in the early 90s for 2200 fully restored 70. I made 100 on it for all the work. ( i said no more) but i got 3 extra engines that came with it. before that in the 80s I would make almost 1000 on a restoration. I thought I was getting rich. The restore was minimal just a repaint and slip on covers maybe a headliner. get the brakes working ok and motor running. took 3 weeks. Stopped then then started on busses 5 years ago now I am trying a few bugs to see. Cross my fingers to see if I can get over 10k for the sunroof car.

Help, I have a Buggy. Custom roll-ball. Winshield goes on roll-bar, I want it to be Safari style. Wanted to make a stainess or aluminum molding. What material or how do I bent the U-channel molding?

warning..this guy stops working and forces the unsuspecting watcher into a boring ass long winded story from 6:22-11:11 before he gets back to work.just an FYI. Otherwise a fairly "ok" vid that covers the obvious.
