In the untouchable Gucci cleats video I noticed you said you wanted to block off the mesh on the tongue area. I was wondering how you tape off that area and even inside if the shoe or do you just spray it all?

Allister Nicholson yeah so since those areas are mesh (soft in general) it’s a bit better to be painting them with 2 soft, just so the material will stay softer and feel more natural... however most of the time in all honesty I’m painting them the same as the rest of the cleat.

Yup check out our gloss vs matte finish video! Typically youll see us one of 3 (angelus matte finish, liquid kickz matte finish, or krylon matte spray)

Few lil tips for applying them smaller designs on on stuff, use a quality vinyl thats made to be permanent. I like using a cheaper masking tape like transfer paper, most vinys when applied need to be heated up to about 100 degrees, i like to let it set for about 2 hours then i can peel the masking tape off, i think the heat cures the adhesive an locks in the shape of the vinyl..i like pulling the tape horizontally, cuz if u lift the tape pulling verticality u increase tha chance the vinyl will peel off..oh an clean the surface witb degreaser the isopropyl alcohol..good luck

Peace I love your tutorials, I have learned so much from you. I have a question, what tips do you have for someone creating the same custom n this tutorial, but the effect of for example a fan in front of sneaker blowing (not drawn or painted, the fan that is), which will make the drips splatter a little and the drips would lead to towards the back, instead of dripping down.? Hopefully I didn't confuse you. Another example let say someone gets in contact with you and wants you to create these Gucci or LV drips, but they also say throw your own twist and as they are explaining they also let you know they are a track star. So an effect that the paint is ripping off because they are so fast etc. What would you do for shading ey, in order to give it that life like effect? Sorry for the long question. Also its the same custom but in different color, so the flow of tearing will only be around the area you prep'd on this tutorial

Hey how many coat should I use Matt finisher? My shoes show a lot of crack.
Focus more time on prepping the shoe, that's probably why the cracks are showing up. And 1-2 coats of matte finisher

Hey I have an idea.. can you do an LV design but instead of using those 3M reflective stickers, use a reflective spray paint just like how you spray paint the G logo in this video, so the lv logo reflects on light
