All chemistry is alchemy and alchemy is not just a physical thing. you do alchemy everyday between your thoughts and your feelings to produce. How about having a baby with someone. Sex is alchemy because tow bodies come together to create a third. what do you think a fetus is doing in the womb? LOSTNESS. everybody lost because you have been put in a magic square by those that actually know the truth. Astrology is real and they use it everyday to brain wash you. otherwise why do we have holidays at certain astrological dates i.e Xmas. Easter. Why do the Jews celebrate passover the 1st full moon once the sun goes 1 degree over the equator. i.e Spring? the sun passing over the equator (Passover) they give meaning and rituals to this i.e Astrology.

      @Animesucks cum what a silly comment. Yes physical sex doesn't always end up with a pregnancy but there are many forms of sex: mental, emotional, and physical. Sex is the joining of 2 energies to create a 3rd. You have an idea and you mix it with someone else's idea and you both create a 3rd. Throwing insults doesn't change it and if you look at the animal kingdom animals have sex to procreate because we don't doesn't mean that's not the primary reason for it. Dumbass

I broke down the esoteric meaning of sex two energies coming together to make a third. what you are trying to do is take what i am saying spiritually and basing it purely on the physical. I mentioned alchemy and life because i was responding to the post which mentions alchemy and chemistry. Why the fuck you commenting for if not about that? You say Astrology is not real yet you clearly know nothing about it so where are you basing this off of? oh yh that's right, someone else's interpretation of astrology and their conclusions as to why it's fake. if that ain't being lost and a dumbass then what is. Do you use your own mind or is google and others opinion your mind? the world is lost. even your handle is dumb, what are you 12 years old?

They were working out the elements, fire, water, air, earth and how they correspond to the body espterically. It was then that they started realising as above so below and studied the stars. all language, maths, and science was born out of studying the stars and the elements. If you learn about the monad and the 360 we live in and how the planets move, then you can make signs and siduals out of them. This is how we derived language and math and science. Even terms we use today are born out of this. But they did this on a spiritual level. Then western man started doing this on a physical level hence astronomy. What Neil is describing in this video is lostness 100. Not interested in names and titles, he knows astrology isn't fake because this world is run via astrology otherwise we wouldn't have a calender or tell time the way we do. We base our calender on a year. The year it takes the sun to do a rotation. That's astronomy, but before that we were studying the nature of the sun that's astrology. Why do we feel a certain way in summer then in winter etc. We took the macro. The 12 houses and how the planets transits through them then we didt that on a micro level with time. The hour clock is the sun and the minute hand is the moon. Hour - Horus (sun god) minute - moon. Even numbers are derived from astrology

I was going home for Christmas and arranged for a get together. All those attending gave me the date, the time of day and the city/state of their birth. He said that was all he needed to do a basic natal chart. He explained that a natal chart would describe with accuracy the personality of the subject. There were 8 of us going to be there. We all knew each other.
    The 8 charts did not have names, nor any of the date/time/location identifiers. I handed them out at random. As people read the chart, they started saying "Oh, I got yours". Each of the 8 persons correctly handed the chart they were reading to the person it belonged to. Were there incorrect assertions and other errors? Of course. But there was no denying the identity of each persons chart.
    I've never been a New Age kind of guy, and have never used astrology to guide my life. But I do not dismiss it entirely. I think you'd go broke trying to go full Nancy Regan, and base investments or public policy on the stars. But in very general terms I think it's useful. For example, my 3 ex-wives all agreed that even though I was born in late September, I was born under the sign of Feces.

    There is no zodiac or astronomy without the sun so lets set this straight off jump. MAGNETISM is the energy that rules our universe and this dimension of material, time and space as we know it. Even down to the atom and molecular level, magnetism is the energy that allows each atom to spin and bind with other atoms to form solid structures though two atoms colliding together will naturally repell from one another creating heat as a by-product which is the law of friction and represents why we can't walk through walls or other solid structures because the wall would repell us from passing through it just as two ends of a magnet will naturally repell each other and cannot touch under natural causes. The sun or light is the life force of what we know as energy on every level and can't exist without magnetism. When you heat up a pot of cool water you will see the water begin to spin and boil. This is a great example of how magnetism works on a larger scale and on a smaller scale. As above so below. As the water boils in response to being in contact with heat so does the atom spin when in contact with heat or light. For example we know that magnetism or the gravity of the moons spin has a great influence on the ocean and its currents with colder water being more dense than the warmer waters which causes them to separate and the same is true for the wind currents and the density of air, the higher you go the thinner air becomes and the lower you go the more dense the air becomes. So in the same way the moon and sun has an influence on our bodies since we are 70% made of water. During birth our brain is very maluable and is influenced by the magnetism of the moon and sun which does have a influence on the child's personality and personal interests to some degree based on the spin position of each embryo's brain development in accordance to the spin position of the sun, moon and stars that pull on us and influence the nerve network of our brain structure and the spin patterns of our spinal fluids in our early development and becomes more prominent when the brain becomes more solid as the child ages. The nature of magnetism is to find a path of least resistance which is why planets are always round in shape including the planets orbit. In science we call this the fiboncci sequence but our ancestors knew this sequence thousands of years ago well before our time. Through out history wise men got together and maped out the heavens and converted there knowledge into stories to pass down to their kids from generation to generation which is how we got the zodiac stories but the science behind the zodiac has been almost lost but this is the truth. Eany leading scientist will agree with what I've written here.

I would say that’s egocentric. However it could be that since they navigated using the stars, when characteristic patterns were recognized in people they projected that to the stars as a way of mapping it out. My take on this is that there is surely much that isn’t yet known on the effects of planets, orbits, etc… because we might not have the correct tools or approach or ressources put in to understanding this but when you look at « real » astrology which takes into account time and location of birth, it shows that everyone has a unique astrological setup. Taking into account planets and cosmic bodies that take centuries to orbit the sun, others that orbit multiple times a year, their interaction between each other, etc… you can imagine that this much have at least some impact, whether in terms of energy or gravitation or something else (I’m definitely not an astronomist or astrophysicist). But it is interesting when you take « pro software » and see every transit taking effect at one given moment, and see that there are general trends during pretty precise periods and when I look at this for people around me it seems to be pretty on par on those « nothing is going right regardless of my efforts » periods and « somehow everything is just clicking ». It won’t tell you your future but it seems to describe your current « atmosphere » surrounding you. There are long phases that are super challenging and that you have to survive through with brief « positive » transits that let you breathe and the opposite at other moments. I’d really like there to be a sort of scientific explanation one day on this « ancient art ». But people relying on « Daily horoscopes » based on just a star sign is definitely not reliable and it doesn’t serve the « art » 😅

    And he acts like humans went from ignorant to what we have now. There isn’t a single person alive today that could do what Ptolemy did. With all our gadgets and technology they still knew more than we do so to say they were ignorant enough to make seasonal correlations about health is f-being ridiculous.

    About astrology being an egocentric vision about universe, maybe it's better to look at it the other way around to understand why most people rely on it ; it helps making us realize we're nothing but a tiny part of a plan greater than ourselves and how exactly we play a part.
    Apart of offering philosophical hints, I don't think astrology is safe using for practical purposes (predicting future and such as), and that part should be left to "real" science.

    It's odd that even Neil deGrasse is oddly closed off to science when it suits his biases. Moons affect tides... humans are composed of water... to say it wouldn't affect us as well, being part of the universe and essentially universes of our own... would be a bit closed-minded, no? Dismissing Mars/retrograde is similar.

      The moon affect tides yes, but it doesn’t affect to that great extent the structure of your brain, your neurons and chemicals reactions that form your personality. What you eat, your genetics, the people who you talk to, the weather, the traumas, all of that have direct contribution to your personality. But the moon? How the hell do you prove it has connection scientifically? Even if you prove, how the hell do you know if it makes you ambitious, determined, pragmatic or whatever the horoscope says? None of that makes sense

    • @jeromescaffidi624
      @jeromescaffidi624 Před 3 lety +6

      No. The moon affects tides because of gravity, not because of water. Humans are composed of water, but they're also composed of other things like bone, which are also victim to the same gravity. He isn't closed off to 'suit his bias'. The scientific literature says there is no effect. This is science we are talking about. It's not about closed and open-mindedness. It's about falsifiable ideas, of which astrology is one.

    This is a simple matter of definition, astrology is not a science in the way we chose to define the word since the claims being made are not testable! The leaps in logic are just too big. You can say that the stars send magnetic fields down to earth and that everything influences everything else through gravity, and this is the science of physics. These observations have lead to theories which represent our current, and most probable explanation of phenomenon. The leap to it influencing our personalities in predictable ways is untestable and unscientific, at least with our current tools and understanding. If astrologists really wanted to help their own cause, they would study something like astrophysics, in an attempt to bridge this gap. Unfortunately, those who try to prove their arguments using a series of disparate facts taken out of context likely also have little to no clue about how actual scientific research looks. We are supposed to be living in an enlightened world at this point, and the advent of modern science was supposed to wipe out all ideas of religion, yet people clung to it because of their ego. We live in a very exciting time when we may soon travel to other planets, synthesize new forms of life. Actual science takes time, it is difficult to learn, we often get it wrong, science is willing to admit that, but astrologists are not? Proper science is not a system of beliefs. A scientist must always be willing to alter their current understanding if a better explanation presents itself, unfortunately even in science ego might get in the way, and we do not do a perfect job. But the intention still stands.

  • @paularitacosta

    For anyone who's interested. This is not a correct way to correlate this two areas. Astrology is based in milenar observation. Psycology is still in its dawn and the nature of reality and consciousness is still a mystery. How can a scientist for sure explain why astrology is fake? We desregard ancient knowledge because we see it with the eyes of today, and not from the actual prism of understanding of the time. Astrology evolved also, and people are using it mainly in the poorest way, thinking planets influence our actions, when the reality is much more complex then that. I hope that with the evolution of statistical analysis and AI data processing that in the future there are evidences that can clear up this misunderstanding. Anyway, i love astronomy, astrology, science and and mystical knowledge, and don't understand why this need to segregate when both have its value in our life. And can bring valuable benefits in the understanding of reality, when seen from its place of work.
