"Google Duo" is Google's version of FaceTime. It pretty much works exactly the same way, and the app is available for Android and Apple phones so it will work cross-platform.
Both phones have the ability to make and receive phone calls/texts, access the app marketplace, take pictures and video etc. The only difference between the two is interface and personalization options. If you want a casual and simple device, get an iphone. If you like to mess around with personalization options and such, get a galaxy (Moving backgrounds, app layouts, etc are what im referring to). Two different phones for two different preferences. Until one phone has a vital feature over the other, im sticking to what best fits my personal preference.
I have my Pixel 3 XL and have had it for almost 2 years and still love it but I'm ready to move on to the new Pixel Just takes way better photos in my opinion.

That’s weird about the iMessage. Have had iPhones since the beginning and never had that experience. iPhones doesn’t come out with something first, they just make it better when they do. I’m a contractor and it’s just like Milwaukee tools vs dewalt. Dewalt will come out with new tools first but Milwaukee will wait and fix the flaws of those dewalt tools.
This whole Apple vs. Android thing was crazy. In a sense, Apple throwing a trolley at Android's bus in Brooklyn was well out of line, but Android's team storming the octagon and sucker punching Apple is some next level shit. I suspect Andoid will be suspeneded for a while, but Apple vs. Android II is going to be epic.
Google Duo is a cross platform video app that works better than Facetime. Android users use Duo, which can video chat iPhones as well. Also, I'm amazed people still believe you can't text message people without an iPhone. SMS works on both devices, and RCS chat has fixed all Wifi texting issues that were present on Androids..
Apple’s A12 processor shreds the Snapdragon 845 in benchmarks and their display(which is manufactured by Samsung) is among the best in the industry. Some Android phones do have better cameras though, but not many.

The iPhone was not the first. They were the first to combine brand design and marketing. The hardware of the first iPhone has been the standard prior to iPhone release for several years.

@StrangeDeimos 1- Its not a question of Google hiding it. It would be probably a $400,000 audit to go over that code. No one is funding that audit.

I don't like Samsung as a brand but prefer Android as an OS . So much customization and freedom to tinker around with.
and a very limited support :(
Official support maybe, but there are literally tons of forums and dev groups that cater to helping out with Android-specific issues.
I do like the customization of Android OS, but iOS has a much better ui and ux for me personally
