@Johnny Five Had the same thing happen with an ex wife and finally realized she wouldn't change. Lucky our child was grown and I did end it.

I have forgiven someone that cheated on me. What I can’t do is live with the guy in the mirror if I let myself get treated that way.

You can definitely hear the pain in his voice. I definitely know the feeling because my engagement broke off a year ago also. It has been a year of roller coaster emotions trying to recreate a future without the person I thought was my soulmate.
PLEASE DON’T TAKE HER BACK. This was God giving you a sign of what your future would have looked like. He is protecting you from a future divorce with probably even kids involved. You deserve better than this.
Give yourself time to hurt and heal from this situation. It won’t be easy, but dealing with trust issues (if you go back with her) won’t be easy either.

It’s better for you to have the hand of power by cutting her off and saying no and never talking to her again. It feels way better to be in that position than to be in the position of getting cheated on and begging for her to come back. Don’t let her think of you as weak. Find yourself a real woman! SOBC sad man. He must not understand the power within him. He is the creator of all situations when you relinquish your power to a situation that you want for your benefit when you are a man. I know that in the western world men don’t learn themselves until they are older because of societal standard issues but those weak barriers that are in place got to be broken. It’s really hurting men than helping them because no one knows how to harness our energy accept to learn how to just give it away for someone else motive.

This is a real epidemic these days it seems; I've been in a similar situation. Go do your own thing and the motivation will come. It normally takes half the time you were with the person to get over the heartache, so hang in there for a while longer.

You need time to heal and get away from her as fast as possible. Reflect on why the whole relationship failed so you don't get involved with the same kind of woman again. There is a wonderful woman out there who is just right for you!

This is the video I needed. My situation isn't the same, but I'm also going through a heartbreak right now. It's been about 6 months and I'm deep in depression. I have no why, and it's taking me into dark places. I don't know how to find a why right now, there's nothing that matters to me at this point. But I'm still dragging along, hoping that it's just my current perspective and one day I'll be able to see more clearly and find a reason to hold my head high again.

Zichqec I also went through this over the summer trust me the first couple month were hard but I went back to college and traveled with my friends and over time i healed and don’t care anymore
@Johnny Five I dont talk to my ex at all, but unfortunately we're both in the same friend group. The friend group is my only friend group and I desperately need friends at the moment, so I really shouldnt leave, but she makes her presence known now and then which isnt helping (and it isnt as though this is also her only friend group, she has another that she clearly prefers)
I have heard that exercise helps, and I'm trying my best to get some walking in. It's been hit or miss lately but I'm trying to keep going. Thank you for the advice, I do appreciate it

Mr. caller, if you are ever reading this, please trust me when I say that God removed this person from your life for a reason. I once dated a guy for 3 years whom I was in love with, only to catch him cheating on me with his coworker...I still remember I lived the next 3 months of my life in blur, drinking, crying hysterically, and then started dating my now husband and we have a wonderful life together. I still remember when things didn’t work out with the home wrecker at work, my ex had the nerves to call me to apologize! I told him “thx for the apology, I’m happily engaged now.” He hung up and blocked me from every social platform and we never spoke since.. there was no way I could’ve reconciled with him because he cheated on me AT WORK!!! How could I ever have trusted him? Now it’s all clear to me, this was a blessing in disguise and I thank God every day for leading me to my true love, whom is not only successful but an AMAZING husband. Oh. We are also close to becoming millionaires, all before the age of 30. GOD IS GOOD, and may all the best to come for you sir.

Dave is spot on. The ending should keep him from wasting his time on her. Once infidelity happens it can never be forgotten. Instead his efforts should be best on building the best possible life around himself and not receive his happiness from a life with this woman. Women will come and go until you meet one that wants to stay and focusing on himself should excite him enough to let him be financially successful.
You should Always try to avoid women that seem hyperactive and impatient. Also if they have lots of guy friends, usually a red flag that she will always be keeping one foot out the door
This is why I think twice about marriage
Think long and hard about it. The chance of damage to your wallet and psyche is very high. You cannot be sure and that's awfully bad odds. Would you play russian roulette with a round in every other chamber? Would you go skydiving with parachute failure of 50%? Caution! Great caution!
