Ryan, I just want to say thank you for all the videos you have, and especially the extras on ILB. You have helped me go from a flat straight hitting the front of the rim shot, to a more accurate and arched shot. Today in my game, I almost made a 3 pointer. Thank you once again, and may the Lord continue to bless you! 🙏🏽💯💪🏾
Could you make a video talking about the difference of middle finger shooting and split finger. i feel like middle gives more power and spin while split gives more accurate turnarounds and mid range shots. Or is it just me and both releases should give the same amount of power when shooting?
Everytime i jump I feel like my knee joint and ankle joint are stressing when thye lock out? do you know how to fix it? because it doesn;t feel liek a smooth jump it feels forced
What mechanic explains why some shooters do not consistently wrist flick down but tend to wrist flick on inward (see 3:10 timestamp)? Is it related to hand placement at set point?
I would imagine that it’s either small hands that are causing a lack of “firm but loose” hand placement/grip, and that would lead to all kinds of issues left and right and all around. Having the fingers spread wide is so important. That’s why I think young kids shouldn’t use even close to regulation balls/hoops until they get older.
Hi r2Bball. I have a question. When you explain shooting you say that your legs should come up with the ball. But when you actually shoot your legs pop up when the ball is at the setpoint. Can you please clarify this for me. Thank you.
in my opinion, as long as you have a baseline for what a shot is supposed to look like, it doesn't really matter if you have a little bit of thumb flick or a wierd shot path or whatnot. practice is key. for example, curry has a thumbflick but hes still one of the best
One of? He is the best. I agree with this comment 100%. My right elbow is all over and diagonal to the right, but I am still consistent for a younger player. Only been playing a couple of months alone in practice and getting better! This sport is so addicting omg.
Hey ryan how can i fix my hand placement? I mean when my teammates pass me the ball my hands are not in the correct position on the ball. Do i have to catch the ball already in the right way or do i have to move my hands when i catch the ball?
Ur hands have to be in position to Catch and shoot, obviously sometimes ur gonna have to slightly adjust but it should only be that a slight adjustment

It’s feels weird trying to make the ball go str8 up on my elbow and I’m having trouble with flick but becoming more consistent with it

Ball moves up first then ur body follows it
