I hear you! The way I see it is The River is about God's mercy - the River of Mercy - for all of us, especially those of us who have fallen the farthest. Only This River - Mercy - can save us from ourselves. After you come to understand that, then you love every minute you are alive. JJ has a way of pulling you through even the worst of times and back on to steady ground. Amazing song writer, amazing performer.

@@pdl46lundy55very true I had completely given up on today's rock and pop music then came alternative sources and for rock and roll is still doing just fine with navy new artist wasn't aware of at all .A REAL PLEASENT SURPRISE as I thunb through a collection roughly 300 of vynle disc and few small collection of CD. Music wasn't worth the purchase for a stint. With older siblings growing up in 60s and 70s. Me in the 80s being no 8 out of 9 I been exposed to a wide variety and get all those hand me downs. We we were young and going to concerts you didn't know you were going to witness many legendary performances. Just another rock show at the time. Justva sampling of ticket stubs in that circle thing. ROCK AND ROLL WILL NEVER DIE. PEACE OUT. CATCH YA ON THE FLIP SIDE KOOL KAT.

I just saw JJ Grey and Mofro for like the 15 th timelme a week and half ago... JJ was under weather. Because pollen and allergies. It was the anew small venue and just always. Mr. Higginbotham and the fellas blew the roof off they always do I was 15 - 20 feet from JJ . On some good shrrooms... We was having hippie church. Up in that joint and he rocked this... This is my jam Md played it second encore... He did 3 encores I think even sick

Bought “Meet the Beatles” LP in 1964, and have been listening ever since! There isn’t an abundance of great music right now… BUT as long as I got JJ, Larkin Poe, and Justin Johnson, I’m a happy guy!

Saw JJ GREY live on his tour at waterfest, Oshkosh WI. This guy has such energy and compassion. We loved every minute of it.
Even the little smile at the one minute mark when he hits a bad note is perfect. Love him!
Wife and I have seen them live 4 times, can't wait for the fifth. Macon, GA indoor at older theatre auditorium; the best show we saw was in Wilmington, NC at an outdoor amphitheatre that was not too big but had great sound.
All I can say is "Lochloosa you're on my mind" ;-)

I love this guy and all his music has brought me through so many troubled times. I died 4 times throgh being on a vent for 18 days. I came home without any physical therapy. This song the sun is shining down brought me through alot grief. And I play it every morning as well as my mix but it starts my day. Thank you JJ Grey and Micro. Keep on rocking! I'm coming too see you in concert or a little bar where ever your on my bucket list. I've already passed my life expectantcy last Sept of 2022.
