Since Brent didn't know how to properly play bass at the time, I'm guessing he tried to avoid showing his master skills to the camera. XD But I still like Brent!!!
They didn't explain it well lol. He could barely do the parts as is when they'd do it live. Brendon recorded bass on the album, and Brent played the songs a lot simpler live cause he couldn't the way they were written.

I love this song and the band. Brendon has an amazing voice (too bad he was sick but he still tried and sounded good somewhat) and his little dance before the chorus, ryans guitar playing (too bad him and Jon had to make the young veins) spencers drumming (most of the rime I was watching him rock out :P) and well... Brents not facing the camera and looks like a spaz but there wouldn't really be a Panic! without him considering he introduced Brendon to the band... Still a great performance!

I think it was excellent. The fact he was sick gave his voice a much rougher sound allowing it to give it a hard rock feel. Think of this as a treat because he does not get sick often. And that type of voice won't show up live again. Kind of like what happened to John Lennon when he sang twist and shout live, his voice gave off a hard rockish type.

Young Veins! Fall Out At The Chemical Pilot Disco i heard somewhere that they had to record his bass parts because he has trouble playing it live.
