They're fucking incredible live. I was lucky enough to know Jaime before the formation of the band (he used to record local SD bands for a tiny price) and got to see their very first show at Soma (or was it Chain Reaction in LA? I don't remember). I still have the demo they released at that show. Ever since that first show they've been incredible, and they've somehow gotten better with time.
Unfortunately for you you'll probably never get to see them, at least not in their OG form. With the allegations against Mike they are on indefinite hiatus while they figure out what to do. Mike is Vic's brother, so I doubt the band will ever play without him. As much as I really hate to say this, in this situation the allegations are pretty weak. If I remember correctly, they were "When Mike was 19-20 and before PTV had ever played a show he hooked up with two 17 year old girls. Scummy and just generally creepy? Yeah. But the band had never played a show so he wasn't exploiting a power dynamic, he was pretty freaking close in age, and it hasn't happened since (at least no one has made any claims about recent activity). I don't think there's enough information publicly known to make an accurate judgement. But based on what is available I really hope they don't let this destroy the band, they're just too incredible.
