      What about boxing?
      Where causing pain and damage is the point of the whole thing and it is not at all criminal.
      Or football or hockey?
      Or the bdsm participants who claim pain and pleasure are cross wired for them. Such that like tickling you can't do it to yourself. This pain/pleasure cross wiring only happens if someone else does it.
