On my second PT keen, some slight mods on this generation that to me were +/-. The new housing is a little cumbersome but an improvement on first gen.
Reolink family! You have a potential loyal market in hunters/outdoors people, keep up the field research and don’t be like other companies; and listen to your users for feedback and you will have our loyalty for generations. A lot of us hunters/outdoors people are excited about this product. My humble opinion, offer two variations. The current system is amazing for entry level but we need the Green Beret version!! Better camera, increased zoom or auto zoom on acquired target, faster software- too much lag for us that act on trespassers, improved siren, spot light option for us off grid users. I would honored to test another one of your products and give my honest opinion, I LOVE THE PT RANGER THOUGH!
i have a question, ¿this camera, when you set the zoom or move it, save or set it the position of the zoom? and you exit at the app and back, ¿still zoom its at the same position? i bough one cheap camera dnd dind't save the zoom position. REgards.
Camera was working great then all of a sudden today it showed "Device Disconnected." SIM card has a almost a year of data left on it and the battery has ben charging to 100% and was showing fully charged just a little while earlier. Turned the camera lff then on again and it flashed blue light but still no connection. What now?
Got my camera outdoor test yesterday. Outside was -9 degree. With full charged battery camera constantly had lost connection with server and was not able to restore connection without restart (off and on again). Will test it more for few days, if it will continue loosing connection I will give it back to store and getting my money back. No ANY replacement, because I'm not a "volunteer" in testing cameras free of charge! Reolink, is it OK when buying your products it is the same way like playing the lottery?
Their support is pretty quick. I bet they'll send you a replacement under warranty. Most people like these cameras. You might have just gotten a bad apple.
I got my camera but no tree is perfect for it on my property. I have the camera holder mounted to a tree with the provided strap but the solar panel mount came with a much shorter strap, one that is too short for the tree the camera will be mounted to. Why did Reolink send us two different length straps?
I mounted mine to a 2x4 that I can screw or strap to a tree or fence post
Also Im having trouble with another staying connected. Would be really nice if they teamed up with a solid data provider with Sim cards ready to go.
Overall im happy with 1 of 3 cameras. I think I just got a bad batch or somthing

Me too I bought a year's worth on flexiboom and have had intermittent issues having to troubleshoot repeatedly
I got one where the antennae wont screw on it keeps spinning. Im sure its easy to send in and get a replacement.

mine did not come with the full hat as in your video above, but more of a smaller bracket as in your link to buy it??
It is a new bracket, but we do not sell it seperately now. 😯
Do you need the Internet for this camera where do you find a complete list of the reolink cameras
Hi Chuck, this camera needs 3G/4G cellular network if you want to access it remotely. But it can record motion videos to the micro SD card without the Internet.

I did a test of Reolink's 12MP camera and compared it to Lorex's 8MP camera. Sadly, I was not impressed with Reolink's 12MP, it's quality, or their search capabilities. Hopefully, they will improve upon it.
Why do you say the system is bad what is 12 MP mean
Mine didn't come with a manual, fortunately, reolink have a soft copy on their website for each cameras.
Which mobile phone network does the camera support in the UK?
Recommended T-Mobile(Prepaid) and also on their reolink support center. I just checked in google, soon i will have this camera here in PH.

Their customer service is really bad and the warranty too. Mine is 6 months old and they don’t want to exchange mine
