I define what repetition and routine is and the difference from constantly repeating yourself when teaching art.     I use a prompt and response - I say "Frosty The Snowman" and they reply "Sells Very Cold Lemonade." Then in 4th grade, I tell them they've been learning a mnemonic for the Elements of Art. Each letter of the phrase corresponds to an element - Frosty - Form, The - Texture, and so on. I also clap rhythms they will mimic. However, I will integrate some of what was taught here shortly.
