Why? They don't have (1) a strong learning method, (2) commitment to their goals, or (3) belief they can succeed.
Anyone CAN learn fluent French in 12 months. Anyone CAN learn intermediate French in 6 months (or less).
BUT, only 1% will succeed. Because, only 1% have the 3 above things.

You can apply this to all the languages. Everyone says that you need to learn from a native, it's too hard and that they're too old to learn a new language. We have to take the responsibility for our own acts. We choose our life paths. Being scary to try and complain all the time never helped and will never help anyone with anything.
100% agree brother. Learning from a native is much harder, since they don't know what it is like to learn their language as an adult - they already knew it from a child.
And yep, as the saying goes "scared money doesn't make money". For language learning, if you are scared to commit to a learning plan, you never will succeed!! 🙌

I heard for an English speaker,French starts hard but gets easier with time
French is no harder than learning any other European Language, like Italian, German or Spanish. People think it is hard mainly because the French accent is wayyy different to any other language in the world. If you are serious about succeeding with French, you can be fluent in 12 months.

That's the same for any language. Once you build an Intermediate Level, the language naturally becomes more enjoyable as you can understand more sentences, phrases, stories and conversations! But getting from Beginner to Intermediate is the hardest part. And it's what I help the most with.
