I'm a 58 yr old Aussie lady who LOVES BTS!!!! My gateway into BTS was MIC Drop (Steve Aoki) REMIX back in 2017(Recommend this one next!!), which my daughter now almost 29 years old showed me the MV as she knows I love hip hop and rap music from the 80s/90s such as Bel Bev Devoe, Heavy D & the boys, C & C, Naughty by Nature, NWA, Public Enemy, Jodeci, Easy E, Snoop ,Dr Dre, Eminem and so many more. BTS I was totally blown away by their talent straight away. They are so different to any boyband I knew and I am so glad I ventured down their AMAZING very LARGE Rabbit hole!! Like many other ARMY we are dedicated and protective. I will gladly subscribe just to watch you discover for yourself why BTS are BULLET PROOF BOYSCOUTS!

It was before I got into them, though I liked Kpop from watching POPASIA since 2012, but I think I have taken over in the obsessed pack of BTS's music and all that they do lol. She used to do reactions back then as well. I scored all all her merch when she started liking multi groups where I just stayed with BTS only YAY for ME!!!!
PS. Slapping myself for not getting into BTS before WINGS2016 so I could have been with her to see them LIVE!!!

I have seen this video and heard this song more times than I could ever count and the guy on the left just opened my eyes to something. When he mentioned how the background dancers are marching unified. While BTS are dancing freely as though they're following their path. That just made so much sense. How did I never make that connection? Wow. Thank you for making that observation. And thank you two for reacting to our boys. Which I'm pretty sure is the first of many. 🤗💜
You should react to “Dyonisius” in MMA2019, it’s a live performance for an Award Show ( Melon Music Awards). Its a masterpiece. The whole performance lasts about 37 min but the last part, “ Dyonisius”, is mindblowing! You won’t regret it.
“Come Prima” isn’t Korean haha. It’s Italian for “as before/in the same manner as before”- it’s a directive term used in music :)

Nice reaction, I hope you will check out more music from BTS, maybe Mic Drop or Fake Love next. They have 300 songs covering a wide range of genres and subject matter. Yes military service is mandatory for all able bodied men in South Korea for 18-21 months and BTS members have until 30 to enlist and the oldest member Jin turns 30 on December 4th. But according to their company they should all be done with their service sometime in 2025 meaning the other members will enlist sometime in 2023. So for right now they are all working on their solo projects and will enlist after their projects and promotions are done. J-Hope released his first solo album called Jack In the Box in July and headlined Lollapalooza in Chicago. Jin released his first solo single called The Astronaut which he worked on with Coldplay and got to perform it in Argentina with Coldplay (BTS actually have another song with Coldplay called My Universe which was just nominated for a Grammy), RM will be releasing his first solo album called Indigo on December 2nd. And Jungkook featured on a song with Charlie Puth called Left and Right and just released a song called Dreamers for the FIFA World Cup. He will actually be performing during the opening ceremony. But I believe you right, after their military service is completed they will come back with a vengeance. Their performances are always top notch and high energy. And just think they sing live while dancing like this too.

BTS is 7-membered group from South Korea with members aging from 24 to 29 years old. They have been around for 9 years now and they usually sing in Korean/Konglish and only have 3 songs fully in English in their whole discography of 200+ songs. They are one, if not, the most versatile artists I’ve ever heard (in my opinion). From hiphop to rnb to pop, name any genre, most likely, they have it. Comment me your type and I might recommend some songs. They produce and write their own songs (they also have an in-house crew too), incorporate a storyline in their discography as well as different themes such as philosophy, psychology, politics, women empowerment, anti-bullying, mental health, and many more. This is why they had such an impact to the world and brought them to the White House and the UN 3 times and gave speeches as well. I can’t reiterate any more coz this might be an essay hehe. They mean a lot to me, coz they changed my life (mental health-wise).

This is the 2nd video i have watched from you guys and i loved the reaction…Army will love you…I am a 68 yr. old Army and been to two concerts. The Sofi Stadium concert in LA and the Allegiant concert in Las Vegas and i tell you it was an indescribable experience. 50,000 people each night with an Army bomb/stick…nothing like it. I loved your reaction! I am ARMY like so many others. And I will tell you this, ARMY will not only answer any question you may have about BTS, but we can give you any info about the guys, the videos, their music, and anything about BTS. We also support those who support BTS. You will see more and more ppl hit that subscribe button the more BTS videos you do, that I can guarantee.
So I wanted to give you a little info, so strap in gentlemen. Are you ready? Ok, Let's Go!
1. The video, was filmed in the L.A. basin. Many films have been shot in this area. Films like Grease, or In Time (a Justin Timberlake film), oh and S.W.A.T., now Missy Elliot filmed a video back in the '90s in the same place. Oh and the reason I know, this is the L.A. Basin and the big structure behind them is the Sepulveda Bridge.
2. The dance crew with them is a crew by the name of "The Lab." Based in Texas, but moved to LA. The very first person you see in the video, is Sienna Lalau. She is the choreographer for "The Lab" and is now one of the choreographers for BTS. Most recently she choreographed their latest song called "RUN BTS." The Lab also danced with the group during their 4 night concerts in L.A. as well as Las Vegas. And this past summer, Sienna and a small group from the Lab went to Chicago to perform with one of BTS's members, J Hope (rapper/lead dancer) where he was the ending headliner at Lallapoolza when Doja Cat had to back out. First solo Korean artist to nor only headline, but close out a major American music festival.
3. The group of musicians that you see and hear in the video. That's UCLA Marching Band, and jazz band as well as a gospel choir from L.A. that you hear.
There is so much more info about this video as well as her sister video "Black Swan." Not to mention this video is what they call a performance video. Just to show the dance that goes to the song. There is another "official" music video (or u will see MV a lot). And there are two videos for "Black Swan," and no this is not what they do all the time. These were special. They were supposed to be their last. Didn't work out that way.
Sorry about the post being so long, but I do hope the information helps u out.
You should just out one or more of their guides. They will help you get to know the guys, their music, and ARMY. Which keep in mind ARMY is very diverse, we are not a "bunch of teenage girls," screaming our heads off for the "cute boy" in the group. ARMY is every color, age, gender identity, and nationality. We are everywhere, I'll give you my example. Was introduced to them by my daughter in 2013, but didn't become true ARMY until 2016. I am a 50 years young woman from Las Vegas. Black Swan is a song that expresses their fear of losing their passion for music.
And On is their determination to overcome that fear and move on to the future. :)
The lyrics of BTS' songs are based on their own experiences, and their albums are organic because they contain their growth narrative.
It will also be fun to listen to their albums in order and analyze them. :)

These are pretty different from Butter or permission to dance or Dynamite.(Only these three songs are fully English.These three songs have been written in English since the Pandemic to give energy to people around the world.) And, all of their music videos provide English subtitles. :)
Their lyrics are very deep and beautiful.

DNA: Joy of fateful love → Fake Love: Realizing that love was a lie → IDOL, The Truth Untold, Epiphany, Answer Love Myself: To love other people completely, you should love yourself first.
These are included in Love Yourself Trilogy.
They make a wide variety of genres of music like Hip-hop, Ballad, R&B, pop, EDM, etc. I'm sure there're quite a few of their 300 songs that suit your taste. :)

Actually the marching band played with BTS in this mv is UCLA marching band. Recommendations for future BTS songs are: Tear-outro live from the Wembley Stadium, Mic Drop, Run BTS, Butter live from the Grammys, Dope, Ugh, Black Swan... oh they have about 300 songs with all different genres of music.

The choreographer for this was Sienna Lalau who was the young lady front and centre at the beginning. She was 19 at the time. When they line up and peel off to reveal Jungkook they do so in age order, oldest to youngest. Age order is very important in Korea so the order is Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and finally Jungkook. You guys were certainly enthusiastic so I hope you delve deeper into BTS. ARMY will be waiting for them to return from military service. Just now they’re pursuing solo projects but they’re still very much BTS. They are like brothers after living together for about seven years so they have a strong bond which they have kept even though they now have their own apartments.

Plus if you're going this ape-sh%t over a dance video, imagine seeing them live. 2025, baby! We just gotta be patient 🙏 Did you see them perform either Dynamite or Butter @ the Grammys yet? Both are stellar performances. I'd watch the Dynamite one first tho, then Butter.
