Lmao I just noticed, Toya and Shoto are opposites, while Toya can resist ice and not fire, Shoto can recessed fire but no ice and that is why he keeps getting frostbite with using his ice powers and Toya getting burned while using his fire powers 🙄

I remember how much I had cried and asked my parents smt like this "I'm not good enough.. Another child? Why? You will give him everything. Attention, love. My friends are in that kind of situation". Еverything seems to be the end of the world at this age. Dabi just wanted love. Even if through achieving Enji's dream. I think it was necessary to wait with the birth of other children. Maybe they could find another way out for him, another profession, support him. And only after that, ask his opinion about becoming an older brother.
IKR. But the problem lied in Endeavor who didn't care about those. He wanted a 'tool' to surpass All Might. He didn't become father to be a father. He was just making weapons.

Dabis slow decent to madness, I put 90% of the fault on Endeavor... he had all the chance as a father could get to try and be supportive towards his son when he felt like he was being abandoned as a "failure"

You can't blame Endeavor for Dabi killing many innocents that didn't have anything to do with it tho
Some bad guys aren't really bad guys. Dabi is one of them. Whether he holds resentment or longing for his father, he's not bad. A human can only take so much emotional trauma and abuse until they break. Dabi might be just a made-up 2d character, but there are plenty of real-life people like him. I relate to him a lot, actually.
Edit: Since so many people are saying this and that, I'll clear things up. I know Dabi is a bad guy and that he is evil. I know he has nothing but bad intentions. I know he is just using people. With that being said, we all have different opinions. Dabi is a major comfort character to me. (same with Shoto) They were both abused but Endeavor covered it up as training, wanting them to be the best, and ex. Dabi was replaced by Shoto and learned at a very young age that he wasn't ever going to be enough for him or his father. The only thing he wanted was his father to look his way, be proud, accept him, and just treat him like a son. As soon as I figure this out and Dabi was officially announced as Shoto's brother, I felt so happy. Dabi wanted his dad to be proud of him. That's it.
...No. He’s a bad guy. He’s burned dozens of innocent people, including heroes, to death even though they had nothing to do with Endeavor. He also helped kidnap Bakugou, nearly killed Hawks and Tokoyami, and tried to kamikaze both Endeavor and Shoto. He’s definitely a tragic character, but he’s still a bad person.

@@kyleighdawn408 Trust me I understand his perspective, and Shigaraki’s group did accept him. But he only sees them as tools for him to use in his goal to fulfill Stain’s ideals. It’s a mirror to Endeavor. Just like how Endeavor’s ambition to surpass All Might led him to seeing his kids as tools, Dabi’s desire for revenge led him to seeing literally everyone (including his fellow villains and siblings) as tools to use against Endeavor. Ironically, while Endeavor is trying to be better and realized the error of his ways, Dabi doesn’t care and is willing to become even worse than his own father.

@@harisraja2931 it’s included in the main series. If you keep reading the manga you would come across a manga volume called “dabi’s dance”. That is the volume based on dabi’s past

I don't think Endev ever hit Toya. I think he just blocked the attack and that's why his sleeve was burnt. I think a part of Toya's backstory is that you don't have to physically abuse someone to break them.

Your channel is very underrated how is your channel not 50k+ subscribers and your views too and in the manga it never showed nor mentioned Endeavor beating Touya for trying to kill Todoroki so that was a lie and Touya never had a hatred for the women at all he only said they can't understand.

Bruh I simp and feel horrible for Dabi too but he needs to be locked up and get help. What he's done is unforgivable and cannot be dismissed, however I do understand his reasoning. My Ideal happy ending for Dabi is him being locked away in a mental institution with regular visits from his family, and I think thats the closest we're gonna get to a good ending for him. But realistically, his story will probably end with him dying either due to his own flames or Shoto's.

It was pretty much accepted that Dabi was Touya once we heard that Shoto once had a older brother and when we started seeing hints of Dabi's obsession with Endeavour but I don't think most would have imagined such a f*cked up backstory. Touya was the opposite of Shoto in that he loved to train and he was closer to his father, even despite knowing why Enji even decided to have kids to begin with. Actually it was because he knew this as he also knew he would ever only truly have his father's attention if he could live up to that dream that his father had put into his head and then encouraged till it came out he lacked his father's fire resistance.
I mean, imagine if Inko actively worked to stop Izuku from taking hero notes and repeatedly scolded him for even trying, imagine if Rei shunned Shoto in a similar fashion when it become clear he wasn't like her. It would have broke them. I knew Rei well...Zuko'd Shoto but even as a child, he knew that was due to a mental break and it wasn't a deliberate action on her part.
Knowing that he was closest to Natsuo, it makes sense why he would resent his father so much as either Touya told him he kept up his training in some vein hope that his father would look at him again, or he suspected it thanks to those talks. I mean, that would be messed up for any kid to realize that your brother 'burned himself to ash' just to try and make your father notice him, only for said father to never have been there as he was, presumable, training Shoto, Touya's replacement, instead.
I can totally see why people lost faith in Endeavour after this as it's messed up to have kids for such a petty reason in of itself, it's a whole other level of messed up to basically give up on that kid and just keeping trying, basically confirming to your oldest that he was a failure. Sure, Dabi's his own man and he should be held accountable for his own actions but the saying 'We create our own demons' exists for a reason as such as society and bad parenting created Tomura, extremely poor parenting created Dabi.
Question: couldn't Toya's weakened constitution to his flames be addressed by a support item? I don't know, a coolant filled suit to instantly address or at least soothe the burns the instant they happen? Isolate where his flames emit from to very specific points and make those point have additional protection. I mean, Endeavor himself says his biggest weakness is his body can only take so much heat even with his resistance to his own flames; do you mean to tell me that he hasn't tried to compensate via his costume or something? I'm just wondering why this wasn't mentioned as a possible option.

This is why parents need to see their kids as individuals and not shadows of themselves. Of course Touya was mentally unstable! By the age of nine he knew that his entire existence was for one purpose. Children should never have that burden. That burden is what Touya based his self worth on (because it’s not like his parents bothered to let him know he’s capable of more and tried to help him find self worth in other things, they neglected him). Putting that kind of pressure on a child, then making them feel like a mistake, or disappointment, or like they’re not the child you wish you had takes a toll on someone’s self esteem. I know a guy who’s father was very athletic and as the oldest son, his dad made it clear that he had to play sports and be the best, but he wasn’t naturally athletic. He felt like he wasn’t the son his parents wanted. He ended up having two little brothers who were athletic. The guy is 22 now and still feels like his parents love his siblings more than him and that he is not the son they wanted. It destroyed his self worth so badly, that he put up with abusive relationships and had a lot of social problems. Endeavor broke his son. He gave him one reason for existing, then shunned him and neglected him when he realized his son couldn’t fill his ambitions. Rei did nothing about it, she could have tried to nurture him and let him know that he was good for other things besides his father’s ambitions, but she didn’t. His parents utterly failed him and created a monster. Honestly, I don’t sympathize with Endeavor. He never should have had a quirk marriage or treated his kids like that in the first place.

Instead of ditching him and making him feel worthless and alone he could have thought of another method to make Touya understand or even help him improve his quirk. Endeavor even said it himself that if he would've gone to Touya that day things would've been different so don't try finding excuse for Endeavor. Touya was a child so go re-read the manga and educate yourself about not calling people you don't even know names. It's dumb.

I wanna see long and intense Dabi battles in the manga and anime...against Endevour, Shoto, Bakugo and Deku, each of them a 1 vs 1. His flames look so cool and Endevours and Shotos as well and Bakugos quirk is cool looking in action and Dekus as well....man, that has potential. I want Dabi vs Endevour and Dabi vs Bakugo, come on Horikshi, those fights would be one of the best in animes and mangas history just of how damn cool it would look like.

I feel like if I was tordorki I would of figured out that dabi was my brother by the first time I saw his quirk
so I think after he burned to flames and no one was going near touya as the ground was on fire touya decided to run away and come back with a greater strength. Then he found shgaraki and AFO and became a part of LOV and got patched up and healed . After that he used his power on human to see if he is ready to face Endevour and Shoto and kill them.
(sup I'm from the future manga spoilers ig)
The running away part is correct, though most of his body was sloughing off due to the flames burning away the flesh that held the parts together.
He collapsed and was later found by one of AFO's underlings. He was healed by a Doctor called Dr. Garaki and he woke up 3 years later, now 16. He was one of a batch of AFO deciples, in case Shigaraki didn't make the cut. He hated being deemed a failure once more after his graphs also started to burn, and burned down the facility.
Oh yeah, he's also half nomu.
Also btw Overhaul was in that batch of deciples too,,
I love Touya BECAUSE we have the same issues and it's for that reason, I don't care what happens to endeavor.

I know everyone is big on blaming Enji alone, but..... what if the experiment to make Dabi and the rest wasn't entirely his idea. What if, a member of the Himura clan (Rei's family) noticed Enji's growing frustration at being the number 2. What if they planted the seeds for the idea that his kids could surpass him and All Might? And suggested ice users ie, the Himura clan. That doesn't excuse what Enji did, just as Dabi's history doesn't excuse his choices and actions after he should have died. But it does paint a different picture. Namely that they're all victims of the Himura clan.
