true
Walt Disney himself was okay. He actually wanted for several of his parks to be Chicago World's fair-type events. But then when he died, his company basically decided that that wouldn't make enough money, and changed most of his plans :(
+Andy Rockwell I actually don't know much about Walt Disney. I've seen a couple anti Nazi WW2 propaganda cartoons made by him here on CZcams which I liked. So my opinion of him isn't a bad one so far. And anyone that wants to make an amusement park can't be that bad lol
The balls that ERB had to diss Disney while being owned by Disney, based as fuck
Nobody wont gonna do anything about disney being terrible, so why not?
Woah, did not know they were owned by Disney too.
How are they owned by Disney? I assumed they were only a CZcams channel
@@benjaminlehman3221 They were under contract with a production company that wad owned by Disney for the seasons that make up the bulk of their videos. At this time, ERB was in fact owned by Disney. It's now just a side project again, which is why there are so many fewer new videos. (And Lloyd and Peter having moved on to other things!)

"M-I-C - I rock the mic properly
K-E-Y - Turning prophets I got the key"
"I'm the Disneyland-lord of your intellectual property."
"Labor conditions in my shop - I don't sweat 'em"
"I'm powerful enough to make a mouse gigantic, with only three circles I dominate the planet, clearly there's nobody near me, I'm owning this battle, in fact I own this whole series"
I mean it's not flow the best wordplay in the video comes when Disney drops in.
True
Stan Lee: Green is the angry side of ourselves, which we should only release to protect people.
Jim Henson: Green is what makes us us, even though it isn't easy being green sometimes.
Walt Disney: Green is money!

It’s kinda terrifying how the Walt part is so accurate, especially the end part where it just zooms out to all the company’s Disney has taken over

"The truth is, I miss you. You were gone too soon. You were like watching a beautiful sunset... at noon."
I swear that's the most poetic line ERB ever wrote.
it hurt hearing that line so sad

This link will help you understand if you're interested in what I've just posted. Look at your licence if you have one and you would see that your name is capitalised. This is also true for your birth certificate or any other government documents. The reasoning behind the capitalised names is that it's a language in symbols. Search up glossa. And also the language we are speaking is called dog Latin, not English. Dog Latin: a-debased-form-of-latin. English is made up of several different languages including french, Scottish, old English etc meaning that any 2 languages cant grammatically exist and does not make sense. Justinian deception can explain all this better.

“Cranking out magic and assembly line whimsy” has to be one of the most creative lines in ERB history.
"Hop on my steamboat boys, but don't rock it" is fantastic.
This was simultaneously the most heartwarming and tragic ERB I've ever seen. Well done.
"there is no man who could even much with what we left behind"
one detail that i really like is that jim tries to make stan look at their creation, while disney straight up forces them to look

the look of absolute horror on Jim Henson's face is accurate at 2:16
Stan- what the heck was that?
Jim- he's... here...
Stan- who?

Well it was actually Jim Henson's own idea to sell to Disney, but I have a feeling he wouldn't like how soulless the Disney company has become.
Guys, you definitely have to take Zach Sherwin's Walt Disney back from this battle and let him fight against Hayao Miyazaki in a brand new epic rap masterpiece...
Yes
Miyazaki is an artist, Disney was a business man. I get where you're coming from but I really don't know if this could work
@@juannaym8488
Point 1: they represent two different styles of animation, whatever their job is. This is a common field.
Point 2. ERB often makes battles between characters with different prophiles.
Babe Ruth (baseball player) vs Armstrong (cyclist).
Marylin Monroe (actress) vs Cleopatra (empress).
Al Capone (gangster) vs Blackbeard (pirate).
Thanos (fictional character) vs Oppenheimer (scientist).
I can go on for hours. What's your point, then?
Point 3: I come from Italy
Yooooo that's a goated idea
This battle legitimately makes me sad. Once they join together, it's really kind of beautiful.
Then Walt comes in to crush that dream.
Man, that hurts, yo.
Same :( but its true, sadly enough
So true. Walt Disney honestly seems like a douchebag in this.
Trent Watson he was a douchebag.
Unexpected tho
Ghost, he really wasn't. It is just the fact that people will demonize something ominously huge. Disney was a truly awe inspiring man. They make him seem like a slave driver because his company tried to pump out enough content. A company like Disney wouldn't stay afloat if they released content as often as once every few years. A media company needs to put forth a shit ton of content to turn a profit. And Disney was successful because it produced so much content, while that required intense labor, it never meant that Walt Disney HIMSELF was a slave driver. And he really wasn't.
I just realised: they don't even ask who won this episode.
That makes it even creepier.
this was supposed to be the last episode but they decided to make another season.
Yep, Disney owned it!
it's because it's a season finale video. none of those ask for a winner.
Emil Blix Wisborg YEAH AND WHO EVER SAYS THE LAST WORD IN EVERY ERB SEASON FINALE IS AUTOMATICALLY THE WINNER.
Emil Blix Wisborg NO MATTER WHAT. THE NINJA TURTLES WON AND DOMINATED THE SEASON 3 FINALE. AND, DISNEY WON, SUPREMELY DOMINATED AND OWNED THE ERB SEASON 4 FINALE. JUST LIKE DISNEY SUPREMELY DOMINATES AND SUPREMELY OWNS EPIC RAP BATTLES OF HISTORY, MAKER STUDIOS, EXISTENCE ITSELF, EVERYTHING, BASICALLY THE ENTIRE GLOBE AND ETC.
1:51 "Stan don't be sad, we all have a time to go" Kermit: yeah *leaves*
If there is one of those things you really wish you could forget just to experience then again, this ERB has to be it. Disney's total dominion here is not even for debate, every bar was a scary heavy hitter one after the other. Every part of his performance gave me chill. "In fact I own this whole series" is such a meta flex too, considering that at the time Disney DID own ERB, and that ending with "Gaze upon my empire of joy!" followed by the instrumental ending is such a somber and amazing way to end the battle. There is no question of who won, nothing else to say, just absolute dominion by Disney owning everything and everyone involved, literally.
I’d say Jim won, but everything else in true.
Stan lee didn’t die. He just did a 95 year cameo in life.

2:49 is such an underrated verse, it truly shows how powerful some companies can be. Mind boggling to think how true the fact is with how they actually dominate the planet with just 3 circles, eerie how he never blinks as well. ERB did an amazing job with their personification of Disney
Wait, you know Walt Disney was a real person right? The actor here isn't playing a personification of the company. He's playing Walt Disney, the founder of the company.
@@SunlightGwyn no He is the personification Of the company with the likness of Walt. My Father Knew Walt and He wasnt this cruel or hostle. The company after his death on the other hand...
@@Zecer00 Your father has some pretty rose-tinted glasses; Walt was a fanatic for his art, willing to grind to dust anyone who got in the way of it. He created a virtually-sovereign state inside of Florida to run his company as he wished, without pesky governmental labour laws. EPCOT was intended to be a 'company town' where all his employees and their families would live so he could have control over them in perpetuity.
A passionate man, but still one with fanatical fervour that did MUCH ILL to his overworked employees.
The Disney company just kept sailing along the course Walt had set, after he died. And in point of fact, decades of outside influence and different visions from the subsequent 'monarchs' have resulted in 'The Mouse' softening compared to what Walt would've wanted.

That steamboat is no longer Disney's, its OURS now.
RIP Stan Lee
We will all remember Stan Lee and the work he did to entertain us and provide us with comfort, courage, inspiration, strength, confidence, and joy. There will never ever be another creative genius like Stan Lee. This is a sad time for all of us, but his legacy will go on for many more years in the MCU.
RIP (1922 - 2018)

Rest in peace
“Ahw, Stan don’t be sad, we all have a time to go” is even sadder now Stan’s actually gone...
Stan lee went to heaven because he was angel the hole time he just hide in mortal skin
Thats true

@@QuigleTheGnome gold😂😂
@@avthendiarie9955 You're referring to him stealing his friend's creations?
It's a pretty sweet moment where they stop fighting and bond over being awesome. Two legends that will be missed.
Walt's insane smile is what really sells the ending.

To this day I'm impressed you could get away with the "I own this whole series" line
Whose here from Lateral?

Stan Lee and Jim Henson:Have a nice ending to their rap
Disney: PEACE WAS NEVER AN OPTION!
I dont bought ya for Billions you can play around debateing" D
I like the Spinister profile picture.
Complete subjugation is a form of peace.
Is that a spinister icon? Mad respect
It got a little too real there.
+dogboy0912 Bow down to the corporate masters that dictate the joys of millions.
+Casper Gesmar Madsen As long as they keep making awesome movies i'm cool with that.
+dogboy0912 Yes it did, a little to much
It always scares me a bit...
+dogboy0912 Yes it did but man Walt has some serious flow!!
Man this hits really hard
2024. I'm checking in. Nothing has changed. I'll check back in another few years.
Me watching Lee and Henson appreciate instead of lyrically decimate each other: *Wow, this ended up really heartfelt and genui...*
M I C.... K E Y....
*Oh hell*
Yeah he came to screw everything up. Lol
Tbh I feel like Walt would be pretty disappointed at Modern Disney
Oh bother...
I rock the mic probably
@@drakon6-921 I doubt
The second half of this isn't a rap battle.
It's a scary but realistic portrait of the modern Walt Disney company.
And I will always respect this one for that
Yeah when Walt graps both Stan and Jim to see his comercial empire of media you can feel how small you are against the giants
i wonder if walt disney was still alive (he would prolly sell his company by now but) if he was still soms how alive what would he think of the company he made?
@@lerandompersononline3746 didn't they cryogenically freeze his body? Perhaps one day we'll hear all about it
I have to genuinely give them credit for it. I never realized how much this has really influences my beliefs.
They had balls to fucking do it too, cause when this was made they were under Maker studios, which was owned by Disney
I swear, every time I watch this one, I feel a chill up my spine when I hear that "M-I-C" and feel the tone shift.
I know this has a really positive message and acts as a celebration of the creative powers of these two men, but "I'm impressed by all the vision that it took for you to sign your name on all of Jack Kirby's comic books" might be the most savage line in all of ERB.
Walt Disney: "Clearly there's nobody near me I'm owning this battle in fact I own this whole series!"
ERB: "Not anymore we're independent now!"
Disney owned it at the time so it's still relevant.
@@Wiseman108 I think he knows that.

There will come a day when it is true that Stan Lee died 12 years ago.

Why 12 years ? Is 12 specific to him for some reason that I don’t understand ???....
