Cederberg Oasis, explored by us (@At Cape Town) with some extra information and all you need to know about this Cederberg gem.
This time we head out to the majestic Cederberg wilderness region and camp at the Cederberg Oasis... what a variety of accommodation they have.
You can literally arrive with your toothbrush, towel and credit card and they will be able to keep you comfortable for as long as you like. This is one of the few truly biker friendly accommodation sites.
They offer Backpackers Accommodation, tented camps, small wooden houses and camping with communal kitchens and a restaurant not to be frowned upon.
This is the perfect home base for exploring the Southern section of the Cederberg.
We would say this is the best all in one stop in the Cederberg perfect for hikers, bicycle riders, motorcycle riders, 4x4's and any other form of explorer.
We also do a day trip hike to the "Maalgat", a natural rock pool perfect for jumping into and cooling off in those hot summer Cederberg summer days situated on the Sandrif farm.
We jump from a rock face into the icy cold Cederberg water.
