Thanks for this awesome video. This is an absolute game changer. I checked out the site, and the board is pretty barebones. I would love to try this out, but I would need specifics on all the necessary components. How is the documentation?
Hey! Yes, it is a gamechanger. As I was setting up the demo and working the adjustments the applications just kept hitting me. Weak tubes, tube swaps, modding consumer sets are just a few. There is documentation for the parts list, but like I said in the vid, Steve is working on the next revision which makes this one obsolete. I was bummed too because I wanted to build a bunch out. But honestly, after sourcing the jfets, it will be better to wait for the next rev. because they were a pain to get and kinda expensive. Most the parts will be surface mounted on the new rev and come with the board plus be cheaper. I'm not sure if Frankencade would ship these ATM. Send him an email from his site just to get on the list or try to get one of these. Thanks again for the message!!

Yep, we are kicking in the lab, not making as many vids as I want but I'm getting geared up. I have boxes coming from home that will keep me busy for awhile. Drop me a line..I want the report!
Wondering when using this, what about brightness when a game goes from a dark background to a bright one you have adjust brightness constantly ?, or is automatic. Have this issue in old arcade crt that don't have a jungle ic that does this.
Hey! Sorry for the delay! With this you should not have to adjust anything after the initial calibration. Thinking about your crt, it sounds like you have other issues because you should not have to adjust it depending on black or color levels. I had a set like that and it was a weak flyback and the brightness vs black level would never line up. I was constantly adjusting it. I think this RGB amplifier would actually sort out weak sets because you can adjust your black level at any voltage you want that best matches your brightness.
