Awesome combo, just bought this same combination myself after watching your video with the FG61TS. What size fuel tank did you use, and what's your setup with fuel lines etc. if you don't mind me asking?
I have a 500ml PET bottle tank inside. Smaller than stock tank. More than enough for 10min flightime. I refuel directly into a tube below the top hatch. No additional gasvalve for refueling on the outside.
Hi Thierry, congrats to your Pitts! Yes I break in in the airplane on the ground for a tank. Then started flying very softly. Very oil rich mixture in that phase. Make sure to have cooling ducts. Without there might be temperature issues especially during break in. Wish you lots of fun with your Pitts👍
@@tistarc9900 Ok i used the black servo horns. The white ones didn't look strong enough. Less trow but i wanna fly it scale without to much hard aerobatics. Thank you Sir for the reply 😊
@@tistarc9900 thanks, I will still need around 1kg of nose weight to balance there... I can't figure out how you got cg there... my batteries are each side of the tank, ignition on the side of the bulkhead... could you give me the exact measurement you have please from the LE of the top wing.... or any other detail that may help me balance this without a massive nose weight... thanks.
@@tistarc9900 thanks but in manual they talk about the top wings ( with spécial Wood parts )and in the carateristics they talk about the bottom wings ? Wish one did you use please ?
@@thipik2 the cg hs to be measered always on the top wing. It is technically in front of the leading edge of the bottom wing, so cannot be measuered there in an effective way.
Hello, sorry, I sent you a message, I like it, I can a little. Talk to you and let me ask you some questions. I would be very grateful if you would do me this favor. From you and I will never forget you
You discuss CG placement in the comments but you didn't mention if you had to ad weight. I have the same engine/equipment: will I need nose weight?
Thankyou
Great video, thank you. I am quite surprised you are running 30:1 in all your Saito 4 strokes?! No issues??
Hi Richard, thanks 🙏
Nope, no problems on any saito gas fourstroke.
(I am running a few of them)

Great informative video. Thank you.
I have the same plane and engine. What is your cyl. temp when in the air?
Could you please send a picture or diagram of the baffles around engine?
Hi,
Thank’s for this vidéo.
I just get the same plane and motor.
Did you do the brake-in motor on the plane ?

Have you had trouble with the landing gear bending on landing? If so what is your fix.
I Never had any issues with the undercarriage 💁
Is it ok for the A6380 servoes all the way or do you use stronger on elevator and rudder?
Only 6380 on this model. Only stock servohorns used to keep torque high.

Interested to know if your Saito FG-61TS has a oil nipple on the case?
I don't think so. Never checked.
What size prop are you using.
Thank you.

I have exactly the same set up.... where do you have cg set please? Stock cg measurement need a huge nose weight... thanks,
Andy
I have it about 2cm behind the cg. There is a wide range mentioned in the manual. I am orientated to the rear end.
