Primitive and Non Primitive Unit Cell

The Primitive and Non-Primitive unit cell both have been briefly explained in two and three dimensions followed along with the animation of MS PowerPoint at its end for a quick review. The sharing of lattice points have also been explained in two and three dimensions to briefly analyze the concept of sharing. The method of construction of a Weigner-Seitz Cell which is one important example of a primitive unit cell has also been demonstrated. Examples are elaborated to described a give better understanding of the topic.
I recommend all of you to go to the book named "Introduction to Solid State Physics" by Charles Kittel for further study.
