  • Dave explores creative thinking and how it helps our everyday lives. Creative thinking can help when you want a day off work or when a family needs to all share one bathroom. He also reflects how thinking creatively has helped him on his journey of becoming an author.
Dave Reynolds studied at Memorial University of Newfoundland where he completed his BA in Philosophy and English Language and Literature in 2006 in addition to completing his MPhil in Humanities in 2008. His graduate research focused on the cultural significance of superhero narratives. Presently Dave enjoys teaching courses in English at Memorial University and dabbles in a variety of writing projects.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Concurred. Maybe he used all his divergent thinking sauce in that online writing and didn't have much left for online talking.
