I find myself questioning everything that is presented to me. Even if I boast, "I am the most open minded person I know," I still retract that verbal statement in my mind and consider other possible candidates who may be more so than myself, or if no one comes to mind ill simply think up what i believe would be a person who's more open minded than myself. which may just be a crafty psychological trick i use on myself to acknowledge my opinion that i am the most open minded individual i know. Anyway, to whomever it concerns take everything with a grain of salt and don't be scared to question everything. after all, finding new ways to view/think is considered by many professionals as dominating trait of individuals who have become known as genius'

scratching a mosquito bite once will not damage one's skin. on the order of tens not so bad. 100's maybe a bit concerning etc
the results of small sustained efforts sum to massive quantities over time, thus ones life is generally what you think about frequently (what you focus on) and what you actually do with your time even when it would be so tempting to itch the bite (give into whats comfortable rather than fantastic)
life begins outside of your comfortzone. comparing what you do to what you ought to do *remembering the plan is to minimize suffering of yourself and beings around you* , formulate a plan of action that is acceptable to you, and update it when you are presented with new information.small works over time = big results and you can always do small works

Most people who think they’re “open minded,” particularly those who unsolicited claim to be, aren’t. Unless your answer to “why are you open minded?” is some derivative of “because I _sincerely, genuinely_ enjoy having my beliefs challenged and see such as an opportunity to learn,” you aren’t open minded. You’re just a people pleaser, kidding yourself. Doing and saying the things you believe people want to see you do and hear you say with the ulterior motive of appearing magnanimous, benevolent, or otherwise concerned to them.
Sincerely, someone who is very contentedly closed minded.

I grew up culturally diverse and I have this friend that is becoming a closer friend and he’s so culturally narrow minded and limited and I’m trying to find a way to open his eyes and maybe even explain him about this subject, without offending or hurting his feelings, and open his mind and cultural knowledge... it’s gonna be a challenge... I just have to accept it in the end if he isn’t open to learn...
