"Chlorine can trigger asthma in young folks." Holy cow, he just solved my son's problem in one second. My son would constantly get this awful cough every time he would swim in a chlorinated pool. The cough almost sounded like the whooping cough (except it wasn't). It agitated his lungs so badly that we just assumed he must be allergic to chlorine. Wow. I am going to ask my son's doctor about this. Thank you! I had no idea.

My dad and I are both allergic to chlorine. We also use shower filters to take out the chlorine before the water gets to you. I wish they would take out the chlorine out of the water. It's no fun going through that. It's not good for anyone.
He didn't solve anything. It's already known that chlorine and other agents can trigger coughs and even asthma attacks.

Love how elegantly he describes his home. Some CZcamsrs do this but almost overly brag about their custom built home etc. yet here, Dr. Mike is just so casual about it but also shows how proud he is of it as well.

He’s humble, he’s been through a lot of hardship and sadness in his life. He’s worked hard and his parents clearly raised him with good values. No pretension.
It's honestly one of the best signs of him as a doctor, he knows how to talk to humans and help them listen and understand stuff as well as take interest into it
It also, to me, seems like HIS home. The style is more modern and classy than most people's definition of cozy, but it doesn't seem to be for a show. It's just Mike's style.
He has always been humble. But he is a doctor who has worked hard. He isn't like Jake Paul who is simply an influencer famous for being stupid.

This is the kind of person that I do not understand how they have the same 24 hours in the day as I do. I get NOTHING done in a day, and this guy is a practicing doctor, and a CZcamsr, has meetings with his team, works out, does boxing, traveling, and finds a house and designs the interior and exterior, and everything that he does. Props, kudos, high fives, and mad respect for all of your hard work and dedication. And seems to be a helluva pleasant, decent guy, which is super cool! Thank you for being in the world, Dr. Mike. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, insights, and caring about people enough to want to make the world a better, healthier place. You deserve all the happiness you bring to others.
yes! He is a special person for sure, because I have known people like this, but they have been selfish and bigoted. Dr Mike is so kind and caring on top of all this (being a doctor doesn't mean you're kind automatically, there are many prejudiced and selfish doctors out there!) which I'm just like yeah how does this person exist! Haha. From what I've seen he tries to look at all aspects of a person's like before diagnosing them, which a lot of pcps and even specialists don't care to do.

Well, he trained for it while in med school and residency, etc. He also seems to be someone who has to stay busy naturally and organized his time well. He also has a team depending on him to efficiently use his time. Depending on your own medical capabilities, you could always make yourself super productive too! Far too many people don't realize how capable they are of "the hustle" and reaping the benefits other people have, if they just make a couple lifestyle shifts.
As someone who has been moving from one place to another bcs my dad sold the house when I was six, and I've lived in more places than most of my friends bcs of it, this is the dream. Congrats Dr. Mike. You've been one of my favorite channels, and as Eng-Spn interpreter for the medical and insurance fields, I've learned a lot with your channel.

I love how realistic this is. I can tell that it was decorated by hand by the homeowner because everything is connected to the owner. I love designers, but it is sometimes so professional looking that it isn’t personal (unless it’s the designer’s home!). Bear’s toys are laying around (normal dog owner things), the pantry is a catch all (normal), and the owner LOVES and explains all their items…because they chose them! Beautiful home!!! Congrats!!!!!
Normally I get annoyed or frustrated when I see people that I BELIEVE don't deserve lavish houses because I don't see the effort and time put in.
However with Mike, it is different. He spent years getting his degrees, another few years as a resident, and then he worked more hours than most people would ever do. He took time out of his life for CZcams, and tours. For once, I believe someone actually deserves all the nice things in there life. Congratulations Mike. You are that man to me.

Whereas someone who streams league of legends every day isn't actually putting in the same level of work, for the same amount of money.
Or it could be someone who sells things on Amazon. They don't put in the same level of work or effort, just to make the same amount of money.
I like seeing the work and effort being put into the amount of money someone makes. Work harder, and you should make more money. Work easier, and you should make less money.

@@kodainokami8552 I am by no means attacking Mike at all. I deeply respect the amount of work and effort he has put into his life. And because of the amount of work and effort, I strongly believe he deserves everything he has.
He didn't grow up with a silver spoon in his mouth, so he understands hard work and dedication. He is humble about the things he has. He doesn't "brag" about having a lavish lifestyle. And I respect that about him.
