GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3060 Gaming OC 12GB (REV2.0) for 309$ or 4060 8GB for 299$?

12GB VRAM is really nice, 4060 has new features again. They are 1080p cards and there I think the 8GB is enough. 12GB is fine for 1440p but there these cards don't have a strong enough core, it's seamlessly playable but with a compromise in detail. Anyway I would go for RTX 4060 and if there is a VRAM issue I would pull down the details from Ultra to High, the difference in gaming is undetectable and it will reduce VRAM occupancy.

Or just get lower framerates but higher resolutions and buy a Series X or PS5 for as much as the graphics cards cost lol

Well it's a shame, 12GB should have been the baseline. There is a 16GB version but it seems too expensive and I'd rather pay extra for the 4070.

It depends on the point of view, in my opinion with GPU it always depends on how you want to use it, what functions you want to use, but in any case the 7600 is not a bad card at all and with the arrival of FSR 3 and now Hyper RX everything will be much more pleasant.

You are welcome, RDNA 3 cards don't do Ray Tracing very well, hence this situation. In native or in games where there is no RT, the situation evens out. Thanks to you for comment.
