This is EXACTLY why I love Robert Duncan. The musical score for this scene in particular when Ryan and Esposito are talking---it has a Christmas feel to it but always a genuine and touching feel to go along with their conversation. I love Castle.

I would love Ryan to be a father as much as the next guy.... But Esposito's little speech was just about sappiest thing I've ever heard. Not complaining, I still loved it.
The look on Espo's face tells me that his words to Ryan sunk in to him too. Remember Espo and Lanie broke up because one wanted a long term relationship and the other wasn't ready. Maybe Espo is ready now and he and Lanie will get back together for good.
