I think there should be a Health Recovery there somewhere as per patch note but it does not show in the mythic item description. Is that the actual mythic item description in the PTS?
I think this mythic should be enabled for leveling characters, like it doesnt have a level requirement. That would be the absolute best case scenario for the set. Let me spend 25 transmutes to reconstruct it at full power immediately and let it work everywhere: lowbies bgs, leveling, whatever. Itd be so cool as THE leveling mythic
That would be awesome. Whenever I'm levelling a character, I always have to choose between either not giving them any gear and letting them use the trash they find as they level, or crafting like 5 sets of the exact same stuff at incrementing levels to inevitably be really weak at level 29 while I'm wearing my level 20 set waiting to grow into my level 30 set
@@coreybroussard5264 leveling new characters in ESO is a meaningless grind. It does not make a meaningful limitation and is ONLY a time gate. Its not like Runescape where leveling is the game. ESO really only begins once your gear stops getting worse as you level so imo, for players who are already cp 600 and up especially, leveling new characters cannot be fast enough
If they place all the leads in non dlc areas this would make even more sense so new casual people starting out can complete all leads for a mythic. Fingers crossed.
I appreciate you coming up with some scenarios for this because I really struggle understand the point of this item. You need to farm leads, level up that skill line, then build the mythic it just seems like a more complicated method of being less powerful than base crafted sets unless I’m missing something. It feels like an item to just be an item more than anything else to me
i think a lot of people simply compare the damage and ignore the defenses and recoveries. so if damage is all you are after from gear, then it isn't the mythic for you. if you want a nice split of stats though, it actually is very comparable to what you could get if not a little bit more than what you could get trying to get dmg, defense, and recovery.
@@skinnycheeks that’s true but I guess then wouldn’t a defensive oriented craft set still probably be the easier option. The thing I think I’m hung up on is, are people willing to go through all the effort of farming leads/scrying to get mythic items but at the same time not be interested in setting up even a basic gear set? Maybe there are, but it seems like more overall work to just be not as good if you took the simpler approach of craft or drop gear with the idea of simplicity using the torc. It seems to require a lot of dedication to avoid even a basic gear setup in my opinion but maybe I’m just missing the crowd this is for
@@skinnycheeks i didn’t really mean an exact comparison more just wouldn’t an offense set (hunding or something for example) matched with a defensive set (maybe Specter’s Eye or Senche-Raht Gift) be relatively similar in safety and offense power? I mean maybe not without testing it, just my initial thoughts

I cant think of a combo that would give as much of all 3 of those lines together. That was my point I was trying to make. If you actually care about all 3 stat lines in your setup, it’s pretty good.
For myself not so much, however a friend that I really like to play with has trouble because he's disabled, he can carry on conversations just like you and me but he cant formulate very well, so I think this will be perfect for him. Very good
@@leonchristou1702 well i am a dps and in vcr trial i do crystals, but in final boss, i sometimes need a sub because there are too many crystals, now i won't be able to handle the final boss crystals, and won't be allowed to do vcr+1 and vcr+2 as my dps will be low, f zos for screwing disabled people, hope their studio goes down and they all lose jobs
I really hope the community can find unique ways and situations that something like this would shine in end game content. would be a cool way to introduce more build diversity and also super easy to access.
The fact you need to farm leads and level multiple skill lines in order to unlock scrying to be able to make the mythic makes it harder for new players than just having someone else make you craftable sets. I just don't really see a purpose for it.
@@ACBongo This is true but not necessarily what I was getting at. By beginner I was not referring to new players just diving into the wonderful world of ESO. It was more a reference for the skill base of DPS. Allowing beginner DD (damage dealer) players to focus less on proccing sets, how to properly utilize high level trial gear and more on their rotation and ability prioritization. To clarify, "...too hard to obtain." is a reference to the RNG of the leads. They have had some doozies in the past and hopefully not for this one.
@@clash505 I feel like there's such good no proc crafted gear options that you'd still just be better off going for those items. Especially with how bad rng tends to be on these new mythics. Only real benefit is the damage reduction but even then most content where you'd want to run this mythic you don't really need the damage reduction anyway.

Much better like this, percentage base increase when you had no stats was so underwhelming, cause no way you were bringing this into a group. 1000 recoveries is no joke either, and glad they reduced the damage mitigation, 15 is plenty but anything more and it might've become some weird pvp attrition thing. Heck I'm also considering using it when chilling around which is a lot, and the one bar requirement of the other lazy mythic was pretty annoying. Good stuff
I like it, simple, effective - they could improve it further by giving it an additional 5% damage reduction against monsters and minor slayer and it'd be a really good PVE item me thinks
This feels like it could be a pretty fun solo item but i’m curious about it versus something like oakensoul. Both seem geared towards a more casual audience
They should change it to where it only disables 5 piece bonuses. If its already out matched by just hundings then it wouidn't surpass a FB/BB build with monster set using Markyn even if they allowed 2, 3, and 4 piece bonuses.
If you think hundings is better than this mythic (pound for pound) I don't know what planet you're living on lol.. 1 line of stam 2 lines of crit and 300 weapon/spell vs 1300 weapon spell and 500 stam/mag recovery.. now vs two full sets .. that's the debate

very good mythical for tournaments and 1vs1, with this mythical the op builds are over, it is the best way to check which players know how to do PvP and who don't in a duel for example
The damage percent bonus the Torc had should be in a unique multipication zone which shares with Velothi and Ansuul's Torment set and doesn't have decreased effect due to cp percentage buffs. Since it disables sets bonus and takes the mythic slot, there should be no other percentage buffs adding to it, making its 20% a solid 20%. The calculation of comparison is therefore doubtful.
Are you sure about that? the Velothi and ansuul bonuses were in their own bucket because they were “to monsters” bonuses while other % bonuses were in another bucket (berserk, cp, etc). This was not a monsters bonus so should have fallen into the latter.
This can basically replace Oakensoul for solo players like me. With Oakensoul you're more or less forced into making best use of the Empower bonus, and it's good what it offers to solo players. Easy to execute play style with decent damage and very good survivability, makes it very chill and fun to enjoy ESO, but doesn't compare to actual damage builds for group play. This mythic does the exact same, just with the option of playing normal with 2 bars and not being heavy attack focused.
I kinda like the way they are taking with this. I would have preferred seeing pen, since dps has to run this with Light armor in solo and 4 man (which this is clearly designed for). Yes they get Wpn/Spell Damage now but they miss just so much crit dmg to reach pen. Well unless they are Arcs. But overall thats way better than before.
All the medium armor % increases to the big dmg stat from the mythic and crit losses from set bonuses would surely make medium with pen from other sources superior
Now I know who this Mithic Item is adressed to: beginner players that need to farm sets. It will help them survive vet content, and still be usefull in damage and healing done, while they put their builds together. It's a good ideia to have an Item that can help beginners like this, it makes early vet content, and it's an alternative to hire a crafter and make a full set
Question The disabled set bonuses thing. does that include non bonus base proc functions of gear sets as well? I know there are definitely proc sets I would want to wear together sometimes but their stat bonus's were utter crap when put together, so usually, I don't go near them, but if set proc functions still work, and you don't have to worry about the other gear set bonuses because they wont exist anyway, then I can easily see slotting this thing, and then just using two full proc based gear sets, or a proc based gear set and a proc based monster set.
Since you'd use more sets in pvp than pve, markyn is a definite gain especially with proc sets. In no cp/non proc though this may have a bit of an edge depending.
Anything new about necromancer ? Seriously, in every rpg i always go to summoner / necromancer, i think i will drop my main necro after three years and buy some token to change my class because the lost of dps is huge.

funny how they just came out with sets that give bonuses based on class lines and now they have something that just removes all bonus. next they should just have a ring that adds like 13% damage and removes all proc set bonuses.
I still don’t see the appeal of this mythic, even for newer players. You’ll still have to grind out excavation and scrying and it doesn’t change the ease of rotation to get dmg and any new player can join a guild and get Hundings and Orders wrath made for them for free. I feel like Oakensoul was a good mythic for the casual player easy to use and still does enough dmg to clear all content in the game. As opposed to this mythic which does worse dmg than two beginner sets with no mythic? I can see this for those who have multiple toons and don’t wanna gear them out to run content but I still don’t see this being very helpful for beginners . I wish it was more interesting as is it’s simply uninspiring and irrelevant. If they truly are aiming this at beginners they need to make it accessible at level 1 on excavation and scrying and able to be equipped on sub 50 characters then everyone would use this mythic.
sure but in your hundings/orders scenario you are leaving off the recovery and defense that this gives. also, oakensoul is different bc it limits you to 1 bar while this does not.
@@skinnycheeksTorc limits set bonuses and Oaken limits bar space, either way your build is going to be boxed in, but yea torc allows for more build diversity in general. I guess I just want to see it be available for newer players right away so it can help as intended instead of being locked behind a DLC and a grind wall
This would be an awesome Mythic if I could put it on a level 3 character. I could just level with whatever gear I find in the game and not worry about crafting.

I reeeaallly hope that Ayleid King torc doesn't work in no-proc Cyrodiil, because the stats outperform any no-proc *duo by far. It'll be the new Brokensoul in there
They need to make this usable by level 1 toons. Decent improvement but I reckon it should be buffed a bit more dps wise. As a part time tank I cant stand to think about dungeons where the 2 dps are wearing this. Take pity on the tanks.
I've tanked a random daily vet it was elden hollow 1 I think and the 2 dds are having around 7k dps on boss, the healer was using spaulder and spc, I use non perfected pearlescent, crimson oath and Archdruid monster set to boost the dmg but they still score low dps... tldr, if the same dds I had on vet wearing this mythic their dps would at least more stable (I think because those two were using proc sets and imo proc sets tend to perform poorly on unexperienced players)
@ckingham9655 Good heavens, sounds like those DD's wouldnt be much better even with this item. Proc sets, depending on the set, are kind of idiot proof since, like set and forget sets such as pillar of nirn, literally anything procs it. With this new legendary the guys you're speaking of will still actually have to aim and use their skills in a half consistent rotation. If, post oakensoul, people still cant get it right then this ring isnt going to do a thing to help them. I really dont see anyone bothering with this item when any guild master crafter mate could swing them some full purple sets for nothing, and most people can craft things like hunding's, julianos and Orders wrath these days. It should at least be on par with, or slightly better than running a good set of craftables with a monster set. People who are in the game for purposes other than fighting shouldnt feel like they are being penalised with this, but feel confident they can pull their weight in normals and low tier vets.
Here i thought Ring of the Pale Order was the best solo mythic to make the overland gameplay very trivial including soloing dungs. Like the build shown, you can just slap RoPo on and you're good to go 🤷🏻♂️ No brainer and still great for ppl who don't like the "deck builder" type of play
Should be absolutely busted in No-Champion Point Cyrodiil and will probably need to be nerfed or it will become the No-CP meta. This plus minor and major protection is 30% flat damage reduction...be a stage 3 vampire and it's 60% at low health. Recovery will help with sustain and make some absurd tanky builds.
😂 I run all ornate garbage gear from time to time as a piss around setup. Pushing around 80k like this too so I'm pretty sure I'll have a great time with that mythic lol
It should probably be buffed to 1500 weapon damage and 750 regen but this current version will probably go live. Personally I think it should at least be on par with wearing two craftable sets and a monster set from the base game. Right now it's way too weak to be used for anything serious.
depends what you call "serious" - def could do dungeon tris with it. but to your point, if it was good enough where you'd want it for the hardest stuff in the game, it would be a mistake cause it would invalidate collecting gear.
I think the mythic is still fairly underwhelming. Absolutely zero set bonuses makes you lose out on more than 1337 weapon/spell damage, you also lose crit, health/stam/magicka, all your proc effects… Also, if they want this to be a simple mythic to use for gearing up, they’d better not make the leads a pain to get.

Yep until this video I was thinking this was trash, but now I might use it on some of my useless alts instead of oakensoul. But if it disabled 5th piece only or beyond 2nd piece i would definitely use it on my useless alts
The only way they could make this mythic viable for its target audience would be to literally give it away to everybody as soon as they start the game. Outside of that who tf is going to use it?
So from a PvP perspective the stats from this set are almost the same as fully procced Balorg's, clever alchemist, wretched vitality, and trial by fire. Its 225 less w/s damage, 19 less recovery, and around 3k less health with no balorg's penetration. But it is active at all times imstead of a 12 second full burst window. Really hope that this isnt allowed in No Proc PvP because this set with corrosive dk / onslaught setups would likely be the best there. For normal PvP its going to be a good set for people looking to just hop in. It won't outperform the current meta but will still be able to hold up.

I find it perplexing that you endorse such lackluster additions to the game. The mythic ring, in particular, serves no discernible purpose. Considering the considerable time investment required to acquire a mythic item, players could obtain gear from alternative sources yielding four to five times greater stats. At best, one could obtain up to five gear sets, reaping significant benefits compared to wearing a ring that provides the equivalent of one or two gear sets without any five-piece bonuses. This mythic item lacks appeal entirely, underscoring the developers' apparent detachment from the player experience.
Sorry but that’s just a bad take. Your comparisons are way off. Please let me know me know of a gear combo that will get you the same stats as listed here. Plus it’s not supposed to outclass everything, then what would be the point of gear? lol. It’s a convenience item
@@skinnycheeks it takes days to farm infinity archive, esp. solo (which is the thing is intended to help), and esp. in subpar gear for the leads. So the set is dead on arrival for solo players - perhaps for alts but then again, epic crafted set and golden staves/bows are cheap as peanuts.
Regen, WD/SD, reduced damage. This new mythic just seems PvP no-proc to me. There could be an interesting build in there and may be fun to mess with. Otherwise, I just really don't understand who the target audience is for this. No one is going to just slap this on haphazardly and run PvP with a sub-standard build, it's too competitive. I think the comment that "oh it'll just be something you can equip and not care" is fictitious; no one will do that in any combat oriented content. Sets in ESO are already super easy to get. It takes like 5 minutes to craft Orders Wrath + Hundings Rage... that automatically surpasses this mythic.
It's a pretty dumb mythic, as it caters more to new players who don't have all the good sets farmed, but at the same time, mythics aren't really something many new players have access to, as they require CP160+ characters to equip, and the leads sometimes drop from bosses you'll struggle to beat without a proper setup.
Yeah still see no reason to get this mythic. It feels bad. I don't see the appeal apart from the fact ZoS is trying to appeal to newer Players who might not have full sets or something. But even then it's stuff like bugs that makes me wonder why I continue to play this game it feels like a joke.
This set is utter trash. Recoveries similiar to craftable wretched vitality, 1337 weapon and spell damage is outperformed by damage from proc sets and reduced by 15% damage taken will be lost somewhere in dimishing returns. Maybe if it works in NO CP Cyrodiil, then maaaaaaaybe....

@skinnycheeks it does if you're a dedicated player and know how or where to grind super efficiently. (Or even have the patience to run around arteum or whatever for hours on end.) Which again doesn't seem to be hitting the target audience here. Not many casual players are into that type of grinding or they wouldn't need this. Most probably scry doing the green and blue and purple in each zone to level up which takes a lot longer.

The worse part is: knowing the thing exists (for new players), and then actually finding the leads in the infinity archive. The other par is scrying does require substantial skill investments and most new players won't have enough skill points for, either.
I am utterly disgusted right now with Zenimax / Bethesda. I have been a casual player of this game for nearly 4 thousand hours. I am a single middle-aged mom, who played games like Skyrim, Fallout, then ESO following my divorce to help me through a lot of the bad times. I fell in love with the music, the look, the stories, the game play of ESO. However, last week, I was banned for allegedly 'cheating'. I swear on my son's life that I have NEVER cheated in this game nor would I. However, I can't get anyone to talk to me. I keep copy / paste responses, and I know for a fact that no investigation has been done because if it were, it would find that I am innocent of this charge. I have spent so many hours and hundreds of dollars to have it suddenly gone with no recourse & for no reason! I would warn any and all players of this game to beware, because I never thought something like this could happen to a casual player like me.

It's a lot easier to get hundings/orders wrath and those sets are stronger.. it doesn't make sense to get this mythic

So it’s a werewolf mythic pretty much with that weapon and spell damage increase and reduce damage.

They should change it to where it only disables 5 piece bonuses. If its already out matched by just hundings then it wouidn't surpass a FB/BB build with monster set using Markyn even if they allowed 2, 3, and 4 piece bonuses.

If you think hundings is better than this mythic (pound for pound) I don't know what planet you're living on lol.. 1 line of stam 2 lines of crit and 300 weapon/spell vs 1300 weapon spell and 500 stam/mag recovery.. now vs two full sets .. that's the debate
That was the point of my comment. He clearly said even with the change it was outmatched by early game craftable sets such as Hundings, but obviously two 5 piece sets not just hundings alone.

very good mythical for tournaments and 1vs1, with this mythical the op builds are over, it is the best way to check which players know how to do PvP and who don't in a duel for example

I think this need to be easy to get so that the lead quality is not legendary more like common so you can get it at Antiquity level 3
The damage percent bonus the Torc had should be in a unique multipication zone which shares with Velothi and Ansuul's Torment set and doesn't have decreased effect due to cp percentage buffs. Since it disables sets bonus and takes the mythic slot, there should be no other percentage buffs adding to it, making its 20% a solid 20%. The calculation of comparison is therefore doubtful.
Are you sure about that? the Velothi and ansuul bonuses were in their own bucket because they were “to monsters” bonuses while other % bonuses were in another bucket (berserk, cp, etc). This was not a monsters bonus so should have fallen into the latter.
I think that mythic is a good choice to change your trial build to an overland build or battleground build changing just one piece of gear.
For all the tank mains. You can put this on and go to town in overland with only having to switch out a couple of skills.
It seems better now but still don't see it as very usable, only for people who would have literally no amor sets unlocked
This can basically replace Oakensoul for solo players like me. With Oakensoul you're more or less forced into making best use of the Empower bonus, and it's good what it offers to solo players. Easy to execute play style with decent damage and very good survivability, makes it very chill and fun to enjoy ESO, but doesn't compare to actual damage builds for group play.
This mythic does the exact same, just with the option of playing normal with 2 bars and not being heavy attack focused.

I kinda like the way they are taking with this. I would have preferred seeing pen, since dps has to run this with Light armor in solo and 4 man (which this is clearly designed for). Yes they get Wpn/Spell Damage now but they miss just so much crit dmg to reach pen. Well unless they are Arcs.
But overall thats way better than before.

All the medium armor % increases to the big dmg stat from the mythic and crit losses from set bonuses would surely make medium with pen from other sources superior

Now I know who this Mithic Item is adressed to: beginner players that need to farm sets. It will help them survive vet content, and still be usefull in damage and healing done, while they put their builds together. It's a good ideia to have an Item that can help beginners like this, it makes early vet content, and it's an alternative to hire a crafter and make a full set
This mythic would be incredibly good on a lvl 10 character, if only we could reconstruct and use mythics under lvl 50
Question The disabled set bonuses thing. does that include non bonus base proc functions of gear sets as well? I know there are definitely proc sets I would want to wear together sometimes but their stat bonus's were utter crap when put together, so usually, I don't go near them, but if set proc functions still work, and you don't have to worry about the other gear set bonuses because they wont exist anyway, then I can easily see slotting this thing, and then just using two full proc based gear sets, or a proc based gear set and a proc based monster set.
I like it but it feels like there's some overlap with Markyn Ring of Majesty. I wonder which is better.
Since you'd use more sets in pvp than pve, markyn is a definite gain especially with proc sets. In no cp/non proc though this may have a bit of an edge depending.
Anything new about necromancer ? Seriously, in every rpg i always go to summoner / necromancer, i think i will drop my main necro after three years and buy some token to change my class because the lost of dps is huge.

funny how they just came out with sets that give bonuses based on class lines and now they have something that just removes all bonus. next they should just have a ring that adds like 13% damage and removes all proc set bonuses.
I still don’t see the appeal of this mythic, even for newer players. You’ll still have to grind out excavation and scrying and it doesn’t change the ease of rotation to get dmg and any new player can join a guild and get Hundings and Orders wrath made for them for free.
I feel like Oakensoul was a good mythic for the casual player easy to use and still does enough dmg to clear all content in the game. As opposed to this mythic which does worse dmg than two beginner sets with no mythic?
I can see this for those who have multiple toons and don’t wanna gear them out to run content but I still don’t see this being very helpful for beginners .
I wish it was more interesting as is it’s simply uninspiring and irrelevant.
If they truly are aiming this at beginners they need to make it accessible at level 1 on excavation and scrying and able to be equipped on sub 50 characters then everyone would use this mythic.
sure but in your hundings/orders scenario you are leaving off the recovery and defense that this gives. also, oakensoul is different bc it limits you to 1 bar while this does not.
@@skinnycheeksTorc limits set bonuses and Oaken limits bar space, either way your build is going to be boxed in, but yea torc allows for more build diversity in general.
I guess I just want to see it be available for newer players right away so it can help as intended instead of being locked behind a DLC and a grind wall
This would be an awesome Mythic if I could put it on a level 3 character. I could just level with whatever gear I find in the game and not worry about crafting.

Decent improvement but I reckon it should be buffed a bit more dps wise. As a part time tank I cant stand to think about dungeons where the 2 dps are wearing this. Take pity on the tanks.
I've tanked a random daily vet it was elden hollow 1 I think and the 2 dds are having around 7k dps on boss, the healer was using spaulder and spc, I use non perfected pearlescent, crimson oath and Archdruid monster set to boost the dmg but they still score low dps...
tldr, if the same dds I had on vet wearing this mythic their dps would at least more stable (I think because those two were using proc sets and imo proc sets tend to perform poorly on unexperienced players)

Good heavens, sounds like those DD's wouldnt be much better even with this item.
Proc sets, depending on the set, are kind of idiot proof since, like set and forget sets such as pillar of nirn, literally anything procs it.
With this new legendary the guys you're speaking of will still actually have to aim and use their skills in a half consistent rotation. If, post oakensoul, people still cant get it right then this ring isnt going to do a thing to help them.
I really dont see anyone bothering with this item when any guild master crafter mate could swing them some full purple sets for nothing, and most people can craft things like hunding's, julianos and Orders wrath these days.
It should at least be on par with, or slightly better than running a good set of craftables with a monster set. People who are in the game for purposes other than fighting shouldnt feel like they are being penalised with this, but feel confident they can pull their weight in normals and low tier vets.
Here i thought Ring of the Pale Order was the best solo mythic to make the overland gameplay very trivial including soloing dungs. Like the build shown, you can just slap RoPo on and you're good to go 🤷🏻♂️ No brainer and still great for ppl who don't like the "deck builder" type of play

Should be absolutely busted in No-Champion Point Cyrodiil and will probably need to be nerfed or it will become the No-CP meta. This plus minor and major protection is 30% flat damage reduction...be a stage 3 vampire and it's 60% at low health. Recovery will help with sustain and make some absurd tanky builds.

It should probably be buffed to 1500 weapon damage and 750 regen but this current version will probably go live. Personally I think it should at least be on par with wearing two craftable sets and a monster set from the base game. Right now it's way too weak to be used for anything serious.
depends what you call "serious" - def could do dungeon tris with it. but to your point, if it was good enough where you'd want it for the hardest stuff in the game, it would be a mistake cause it would invalidate collecting gear.

I think the mythic is still fairly underwhelming. Absolutely zero set bonuses makes you lose out on more than 1337 weapon/spell damage, you also lose crit, health/stam/magicka, all your proc effects…
Also, if they want this to be a simple mythic to use for gearing up, they’d better not make the leads a pain to get.
disables all set bonuses is a hard pass for me. unless you run several 1 pieces.
I think it’s pretty decent for pvp especially for builds that need wretched to sustain

Yep until this video I was thinking this was trash, but now I might use it on some of my useless alts instead of oakensoul. But if it disabled 5th piece only or beyond 2nd piece i would definitely use it on my useless alts
The only way they could make this mythic viable for its target audience would be to literally give it away to everybody as soon as they start the game. Outside of that who tf is going to use it?

Off topic, but I'd wish you make videos on dps classes and builds that need some serious tuning e.g. stamden, nightblade, magsorc, stamplar and necro.
Even if it did work it’s still terrible. Should just be 2 bar Oakensoul; gives every single minor and major buff + 20% DR but all sets are disabled

So from a PvP perspective the stats from this set are almost the same as fully procced Balorg's, clever alchemist, wretched vitality, and trial by fire.
Its 225 less w/s damage, 19 less recovery, and around 3k less health with no balorg's penetration. But it is active at all times imstead of a 12 second full burst window.
Really hope that this isnt allowed in No Proc PvP because this set with corrosive dk / onslaught setups would likely be the best there.
For normal PvP its going to be a good set for people looking to just hop in. It won't outperform the current meta but will still be able to hold up.

I find it perplexing that you endorse such lackluster additions to the game. The mythic ring, in particular, serves no discernible purpose. Considering the considerable time investment required to acquire a mythic item, players could obtain gear from alternative sources yielding four to five times greater stats. At best, one could obtain up to five gear sets, reaping significant benefits compared to wearing a ring that provides the equivalent of one or two gear sets without any five-piece bonuses. This mythic item lacks appeal entirely, underscoring the developers' apparent detachment from the player experience.
Sorry but that’s just a bad take. Your comparisons are way off. Please let me know me know of a gear combo that will get you the same stats as listed here. Plus it’s not supposed to outclass everything, then what would be the point of gear? lol. It’s a convenience item
@@skinnycheeks it takes days to farm infinity archive, esp. solo (which is the thing is intended to help), and esp. in subpar gear for the leads. So the set is dead on arrival for solo players - perhaps for alts but then again, epic crafted set and golden staves/bows are cheap as peanuts.
Regen, WD/SD, reduced damage. This new mythic just seems PvP no-proc to me. There could be an interesting build in there and may be fun to mess with.
Otherwise, I just really don't understand who the target audience is for this. No one is going to just slap this on haphazardly and run PvP with a sub-standard build, it's too competitive. I think the comment that "oh it'll just be something you can equip and not care" is fictitious; no one will do that in any combat oriented content. Sets in ESO are already super easy to get. It takes like 5 minutes to craft Orders Wrath + Hundings Rage... that automatically surpasses this mythic.
It's a pretty dumb mythic, as it caters more to new players who don't have all the good sets farmed, but at the same time, mythics aren't really something many new players have access to, as they require CP160+ characters to equip, and the leads sometimes drop from bosses you'll struggle to beat without a proper setup.
Yeah still see no reason to get this mythic. It feels bad. I don't see the appeal apart from the fact ZoS is trying to appeal to newer Players who might not have full sets or something. But even then it's stuff like bugs that makes me wonder why I continue to play this game it feels like a joke.

This set is utter trash. Recoveries similiar to craftable wretched vitality, 1337 weapon and spell damage is outperformed by damage from proc sets and reduced by 15% damage taken will be lost somewhere in dimishing returns. Maybe if it works in NO CP Cyrodiil, then maaaaaaaybe....

@skinnycheeks it does if you're a dedicated player and know how or where to grind super efficiently. (Or even have the patience to run around arteum or whatever for hours on end.) Which again doesn't seem to be hitting the target audience here. Not many casual players are into that type of grinding or they wouldn't need this. Most probably scry doing the green and blue and purple in each zone to level up which takes a lot longer.

The worse part is: knowing the thing exists (for new players), and then actually finding the leads in the infinity archive. The other par is scrying does require substantial skill investments and most new players won't have enough skill points for, either.

I am utterly disgusted right now with Zenimax / Bethesda. I have been a casual player of this game for nearly 4 thousand hours. I am a single middle-aged mom, who played games like Skyrim, Fallout, then ESO following my divorce to help me through a lot of the bad times. I fell in love with the music, the look, the stories, the game play of ESO. However, last week, I was banned for allegedly 'cheating'. I swear on my son's life that I have NEVER cheated in this game nor would I. However, I can't get anyone to talk to me. I keep copy / paste responses, and I know for a fact that no investigation has been done because if it were, it would find that I am innocent of this charge. I have spent so many hours and hundreds of dollars to have it suddenly gone with no recourse & for no reason! I would warn any and all players of this game to beware, because I never thought something like this could happen to a casual player like me.
