- Now I'm so excited! Back to back brilliant high-energy blues grooves and solos from the band. This concert is shaping up to be a real fun one, and I'm sure there'll be a change of pace coming up soon. A lot of techniques, licks here to go through, from the groove to switching octaves, funky chord shapes, muted riffs, and more. Awesome stuff.

Stevie Ray was real, genuine a wonderful human being, I got the first album in 1984 saw him live in 1986 in Sydney Australia Stevie will be no 1 to me always.
I love it when reactors say something like "I didn't know a guitar could make that sound". It's even better when they can play themselves and the amazement of his ability is real. Good reaction... thank you..
Love to see younger people appreciating Stevie Ray I bought texas flood in 1984 saw him in 1986 memories for a lifetime still my favourite musician and always will be.

Your Stevie reaction videos are a breath of fresh air to the overly dramatic response videos. Plus you understand the musicianship as well. Absolutely LOVE this performance. The bends - absurd - with .13s no less - doubtless how he gets to the next point - the TONE is a buzz saw, like how - that tone, the SRV tone in full effect - the groove, he maintains while adding fills that are coming from his improvised hand in heaven - this is one of those where he is feeling it like I have such power over this sound and guitar I am almost ready to literally explode. There is a song cover he does from this era "Crosscut Saw" with this similar illegal tone - no one does those swooping double stops - this song makes me want to burst out of my skin it is so nasty. The breakdown is like a take on his solo in 'Cold Shot'. His vibrato - he shakes that guitar like he is trying to break the neck off.
Oh yeah best reaction yet. I think for you SRV was love at first listen. I appreciate the way you break it down cuz I know nothing about guitar lingo but my ears tell me what I love. This number is burning,, really showcases Stevie's jazzy soul side and has the right title, too. Thanks for continuing to bring us the best of Stevie, which is everything. Please do Little Wing from El Macombo. This one is really special to me ever since Jimi brought it to me when I needed it. Keep up the great reactions! ☮️ to all.
Texas flood and little,wing from el macambo are must sees, the vids too, he’s to be watched, not just listened to....listening to him his glorious, but, the live footage , is um.....history is lucky to have it, put it that way....texas flood at that show is like the live “life,without you”, u can passively listen, but it’s not the same when all the crazy sh#t happens behind the back, and with one hand....anyway, a lot,of other reactors have done those vids, so the live footage is out there......texas flood, el macombo, and little wing el macambo....’nuff said
Another great SRV reaction👏🙌‼️ i rarely watch people listening (not watching) but I make an exception for you. I learn a lot and love your enthusiasm and knowledge. I agree, I do not know how each time I listen to his music it is always fresh and exciting. I am 74 years old and still waiting to get tired of the same music but it isn't happening. You did pick up on some jazz licks. I think you would really enjoy a jazz tune he did called Stang's Swang. I haven't found a good video but his audio from the Couldn't Stand the Weather album is 🔥.
