- Here is the much requested "day in the life" video. I discuss my schedule throughout the day and some of the tasks I handled on this typical Tuesday. Recorded this on my cell phone so this isn't the best production, but it gets the idea across. Let me know if you have any questions on the items I mentioned here!

@@soniyasuvarna1503 Did you succeed in your quest of meeting AJ ?
good luck with the CFP! i started the coursework last month (i’ve heard really good things about brett danko’s review course, you might want to check it out)
Thanks! I already have a book from Kaplan.
Hi there thanks for the video, could you make a video about the last month of study with some exemples for Level 1 ? Thanks you and keep goin
Yes, I have a video about this.
Out of curiosity what type of glasses are those?
This is really off-topic but you're handsome lol 😂❤️
Hey man, quick question on CFA level 1. If you get 70+ for all topics on end of chapter questions and blue-box questions, should you be fine for the exam or are exam questions on another level
In my opinion, you will be fine on the real exam. The exam is a big easier than the blue box questions. It's probably equal in difficulty to the EOCs I think.
Whenever he says straight talks, Am I the only one who hear it as Street dogs? Lol!
Lol I think I like that name even more. Might use it in my next video.
Hey man!...your videos help a lot..so thanks for that.
Just wanted to ask you a quick question...what could be the salary of a L2 cleared candidate?(with no significant experience)
I know it depends on other factors as well but could you atleast give an estimate?
I have a video about CFA salary!
you mentioned that you would sell her positions pro rata to increase monthly distributions, is it possible that selling long term positions with the lowest capital gain is be a better idea for tax purposes? the main problem i can think of is that it would throw off the current allocation of the portfolio
Yes, that can be better in some cases.
Assuming you work for a registered BD, did you have to get permission from your co to start this channel, being considered retail communication? Specifically being approved by your co’s principal?
It depends on if I am discussing investments or my identity, or linking my company website on CZcams.
🙏
Can I get by buying 2020 Schwezer books for level 1 for the 2021 February level 1 Exam? Not trying to spend tons of money on new books. Thank you!
If you study really well, this could work out for you.
Do you take decisions of which stock should be bought in the portfolio for your clients?
No, my firm does not build portfolios from individual stocks.
Hi AJ I hope you are in the best of your health. Just a small help. Can you take some doubt sessions wherein you can come live on CZcams and solve some conceptual doubts of people persuing cfa.
I know you should be very busy but just in case you get time this will be very beneficial for us
This might be a good idea. What types of questions are you thinking?
@@straighttalks-ajsrmek323 the questions can be some terms or conceptual doubts. Like i am from India. I was going through working capital management chapter and came across terms like giro system , direct debit , lockbox system and all. We don't follow these here in india and so i am not sure exactly what they are . I tried finding something on google but couldn't understandmuch . I know there can be many terms for alot of people those are hard to understand. Some doubt session like once a month or so can help us to understand these things
In Which city do you live? And also, I am very hopeful in future I will be a CFA one day IA as today I am just 18 year old pakistani kid😀
Once awarded the charter does one have any obligation to work to "keep" the credential, e.g. continuing education credits, annual fees, social events/volunteering
Just annual fees of $375
Do you think it's worth it to go for the mba if i am intersted to work in the financial analysis sector? As also i would love to contact you to get more information concerning the finance field in general and stuff like that if you don't mind ☺️🙏
Ps: i am seeking also to do the cfa
I think getting an MBA depends on the market that you want to work in. Financial analysis can mean a few different things so my best advice is look to others in the sector you will be applying to. You can email me at straighttalksbusiness@gmail.com
Any chance you could say what your actual job title is? Just trying to get an idea as to whats out there
Associate Financial Advisor
I'm from India, currently doing FRM your veiws for this professional course? Will be doing CFA after completing this course.
I don't know too much about FRM but I personally would just stick to the CFA.
Wowww 😍😍
Bro.how is your CFP study going on ...pls.update us...
I haven't really started. I will next week.
I am curious what your undergrad was in?
Management in Finance
After completing cfa can i get skilled worker visa of uk...pls tell me
Only if you get a job in the UK.
What private school did you go ?
Public high school
Hey bro at what position you are working now...its been 3 years
In a similar position at the same company.
What is the basic salary of a CFA??
Its a wide range, but median is around $160k USD.
You make it look so easy. Then again, a 130 IQ probably helps :)
How old are you? And at what age did you earn your CFA Charter?
27 and 26.
@@straighttalks-ajsrmek323I'm 22 years old and i will start CFA, 22 years level 1 and level 2 23 and level 3 24 years, so i get the certification at 25 oe 26? And do you advise me to study level 1 and 2 then FRM 1 and 2 then CFA level 3
In 24 25 years study FRM or complete CFA level 3.
@@husseinarslan7173 Age 25 yes because you only need 36 months of work experience now. I would do CFA L3 before FRM.
@@straighttalks-ajsrmek323 so, i het the certification in 25 years and i will finish CFA at 24.
Then i start FRM.
