  • Here is the much requested "day in the life" video. I discuss my schedule throughout the day and some of the tasks I handled on this typical Tuesday. Recorded this on my cell phone so this isn't the best production, but it gets the idea across. Let me know if you have any questions on the items I mentioned here!

    Hey man, quick question on CFA level 1. If you get 70+ for all topics on end of chapter questions and blue-box questions, should you be fine for the exam or are exam questions on another level

    • @straighttalks-ajsrmek323
      @straighttalks-ajsrmek323  Před 3 lety +4

      In my opinion, you will be fine on the real exam. The exam is a big easier than the blue box questions. It's probably equal in difficulty to the EOCs I think.

    Just wanted to ask you a quick question...what could be the salary of a L2 cleared candidate?(with no significant experience)
    I know it depends on other factors as well but could you atleast give an estimate?

    you mentioned that you would sell her positions pro rata to increase monthly distributions, is it possible that selling long term positions with the lowest capital gain is be a better idea for tax purposes? the main problem i can think of is that it would throw off the current allocation of the portfolio

    Assuming you work for a registered BD, did you have to get permission from your co to start this channel, being considered retail communication? Specifically being approved by your co’s principal?

    Hi AJ I hope you are in the best of your health. Just a small help. Can you take some doubt sessions wherein you can come live on CZcams and solve some conceptual doubts of people persuing cfa.
    I know you should be very busy but just in case you get time this will be very beneficial for us

    • @agamdeepmalhotra6955

      @@straighttalks-ajsrmek323 the questions can be some terms or conceptual doubts. Like i am from India. I was going through working capital management chapter and came across terms like giro system , direct debit , lockbox system and all. We don't follow these here in india and so i am not sure exactly what they are . I tried finding something on google but couldn't understandmuch . I know there can be many terms for alot of people those are hard to understand. Some doubt session like once a month or so can help us to understand these things

    Once awarded the charter does one have any obligation to work to "keep" the credential, e.g. continuing education credits, annual fees, social events/volunteering

    Do you think it's worth it to go for the mba if i am intersted to work in the financial analysis sector? As also i would love to contact you to get more information concerning the finance field in general and stuff like that if you don't mind ☺️🙏
    Ps: i am seeking also to do the cfa

      @straighttalks-ajsrmek323  Před 3 lety

      I think getting an MBA depends on the market that you want to work in. Financial analysis can mean a few different things so my best advice is look to others in the sector you will be applying to. You can email me at straighttalksbusiness@gmail.com
