Relative truth implies absolute truth. A relative perception depends upon seeing something from an individual perspective, but that perception implies that there is some real and absolute thing being perceived. Our perception is limited to our perspectives, but the thing has it's own properties, a portion of which affect its perceptions. But that's not the issue most of the time when people choose to dismiss the claims of truth. There's a deeper problem within the person dismissing the possibilities of truth because that person wants to live in lies because they think it'll provide him or her with an advantage over others.
