I must quite wholeheartedly agree. The coolest sounding rank indeed. I purposely ommited the word military before the word rank. I prefer the moniker that way and since I'm the original 'Space Force General' I'm pulling rank. Peace Love and Rock & Roll, man.

While all my friends were joining lame clubs like "Cub Scouts,'" 'Webelos" and "Boy Scouts" I enrolled in "The Space Cadets." The initiation ceremony culminated with smoking a joint. Badges required include 1.) "hand rolling a doobie" 2.) "extracting seeds from bags of pot" 3.) "seperating male/female seeds" 4.) "germinating, planting and growing buds from female seeds." Then on to Initiation Time! Whoopee!

General Saltzman has been very enlightening informative of Space Force. Need to research more of this unit of our military. Thank you for an education that would interest me and to be understandable on any level.
General Saltzman is a smart guy. I'm glad to serve under him. I will be interested to see the numbers regarding retention though. The USSF enlisted members are probably the smartest on average of any branch, and their technical skills allows them to get much higher paying jobs after their military service. It doesn't make much sense for a cyber operator to stay in at E4/E5 when they get the same wage as a burger flipper from another branch.

I don’t mind the black with silver accents (seems appropriate for Space related operations) but I agree, the design looks like crap.
Once we actually move into orbit and perform military related orbital operations, I bet it changes drastically. Maybe they'll use the new SpaceX suits, with their own black/silver color-scheme, as their initial model, who knows?

Blue Origin haven't even reached orbit yet. All they accomplished so far is suborbital tourism flights with New Shepard rocket
No.. they aren't.. they are a 23 year old company and have still not demonstrated orbital launch capability.
SpaceX demonstrated orbital launch capability in September 2008 and has been pushing the frontier of rocket technology ever since. No one even comes close.

I would be embarrassed to wear that ridiculous uniform. The "Space Force" should be a part of the Air Force just like it was before. There is no reason to have a separate branch. Now we have to pay more taxes to support more people to do the same thing that the Air Force did. Shit like this just pisses me off about the government. I was in the Air Force and I do not support this waste of duplicate resources. That uniform jacket looks stupid. Is he trying to look like Captain Kirk? Actually you're saving money by the Space Force being its own branch. You mention duplicate resources, but the USSF actually cuts down on duplicate efforts by consolidating the space missions of branches other than the Air Force. The Space Force has a clear streamlined mission that facilitates joint force efforts.
