At one point in the video mrbeast says something like "and if we wanna complete this challenge we're gonna have to-" and without a 'why' then you kinda ask yourself "why do you want to complete this challenge at all?" Like there's no motivation set up so you can't really get invested in their struggle or even believe that they want to persevere for any other reason then 'need the content'
