It’s not her husband who’s manipulating her. She never said that. She said HER beliefs are what’s keeping her in the marriage.
What’s crazy is Jesus said “fornication”, i.e., cheating, adultery, etc., is grounds for divorce if one so chooses. It’s right there in the Bible.
I *know* women like this. They tolerate their husbands having outside relationships for years and use “faith”, their vows, the kids, and being a “good woman” as excuses to stay because:
    1) low self-esteem
    2) fear of being alone
    3) fear of starting over
    4) wanting to hold on to the “wife” position even if only on paper
    5) the absence of self-worth
    6) refusal to concede defeat
    7) refusal to accept their husbands are no longer interested aka DENIAL

This is why, as a Christian, I don't support the idea that divorce isn't an option.. cause why is this even a question? What did you do for the man to cheat. If you look at the marriage statistics women cheat more than men. You can Google this 50% of females in a long term relationship or marriage have a side dude. Most men won't cheat because of the financial retribution of get a divorced. A men getting divorced loses half his net worth instantly.
The Bible also says respect and honor thy husband but how many wo 0:29 men are doing that. Females file for divorce 80% of the time. It's statistically impossible for cheating, abuse, or etc to be the 80% of women filing for divorce when Lesbian have a divorce rate 75% and gay men have a divorce rate of 25%.
Most men usually cheat because they feel disrespected at home, wife stops giving sex, or men don't get emotionally or spiritually validated. Unless you married someone that was already a cheater and you chose to ignore the signs.
Again, I find it amazing how a women will never tell the whole truth just her version of the "truth".

@@CrysSpen It says no such thing. That is a mistake to think so. The scripture you're referencing speaks about MEN putting away wives that committed fornication.
Do you know what that means?
      Fornication is not adultery
      Fornication happens BEFORE marriage.
Men are putting away wivs who they thought was pure or clean.
They're putting away wives they thought were virgins and found out had sex BEFORE she married them.
And since they are still married to the woman they put away, ANY other man that sleeps with her commits adultery.
She is put away, not divorced . She is shamed and outcast. She has no claim to her husband and she is not allowed to be with any other man.
