I'm 12 but I'm watching this cause my mom is trying to get pregnant but she already has 3 kids (ages 15,12, and 6) and I didn't live with her when she had my younger sister. (I lived with my 2 Great aunts cause my mom and dad get divorced and was on drugs) so I need her to know getting me and my older sister back was the best thing to do.
Though I'm 15, I keep saying to myself "I should save this video and make a list for when I'm 30"

I do not think that cozy cover keep a baby protected from cold...cause the cold air is coming though the hole...
There is a flap that goes down to cover that hole. My mom had one for my younger sisters, and it was great.
A blanket or a simple jaket would do a better job though. It's the only thing on this list that I really think is not a must have.

That Hatchbaby is good for parents with babies that were premature or are failing to thrive and they need to know on a daily basis what their weight is. The average parent will make themselves nervous wrecks with all the weighing and timing and crap. That car seat to stroller is pretty awesome, especially for babies who don't transfer well but I'm sure it comes with a pretty price tag. If you carry your kid on your back a lot, which only a few people I know do, that cover-up is pretty awesome, they probably shouldn't have shown her trying to get out of it though because that did not look easy!
I'm not sure why I'm watching either. I'm done having kids!

Told my mum about this for me, (I'm 14) my first little sister (she's 8) and my newborn twin sisters. She got all of these and that rifi WiFi for kids is brilliant. It helps me and my sister get to sleep and have more time outside. All of these are amazing and I'll have these for my own kids in 10-20 years time 😂😂😂

The 3rd one halo bassinets swivel sleeper what if the baby falls because the sides are flexible right
It's meant for newborns, who can't roll over yet and a lot of times they are swaddled to sleep, (like the one in the video) so they wouldn't really be able to move around enough to push it down
You are supposed to stop using bassinets when babies can turn over or push themselves up. That and the bassinet side has a lock on it that you can turn on when you don't need it on.

I am a parent. I feel compelled to aquire none of these gadgets... especially an app which allows me to track dirty nappies. She eats, she fills nappies. As long as the supply is regular I am calm. Every few weeks my baby has a standard development exam. Can people not just BE rather than putting their babies on apps?

The first one is promoting something that is not right. Car seats should never be placed on a flat surface because the straps could cause the baby to strangle or suffocate because it is not at the proper angle. Only use car seats in the proper attachments they sit in while in a car or a stroller.

I have found a device that corners and distracts a child from helping you and participating during changing time to not be helpful. I enjoy changing babies more when I communicate with them that it’s time to change them, give them a minute to process this and then lie them down. They tend to squirm a bit less from this alone. Also, if you hand them a wipe and say “I’m going to now wipe you with this. Stay still” that if the baby hears what is going on and has a chance to recognize it, they tend to be more on board, whereas when parents fling them on the floor and yank off the diaper, wipe them quickly and place a new one on, baby is very confused and doesn’t know what is expected. That is where the excess movement is coming from. When I tell an 18 month old I work with that it’s time to change her diaper, she lies down for me. She stays still the entire time as well. Why? Because she knows what to expect.
